Now for the main plot and the core idea!!๐ฐ๐ฐ
Because August is easily led and naive, even though he's a moralist, Charis manipulates him into killing his parents to get closer to Maki! He told him that Maki's parents would adopt him and they could be together forever
August eventually went through with it in the end, after which he ran away with Charis by car, and then Maki joined them too
Together, they started feeding him even more insane ideas โ for example, that he is the reincarnation of Hi**er(just because he's German and killed his parents) and that to "heal" him, they need to bring him numerous sacrifices to "satiate" him
And now, as a result, they are driving across Canada (the story takes place there) and committing serial murders for their own amusement โ although, of course, each of the three has their own motives๐ป
