Eternia, a peaceful land long ago lead by two kings that were known throughout the land for their good and heroic deeds, reputation like no other, they were peaceful and kind yet held darkness like no other. The public saw the kings as the hero’s, their kingdom safe and pleasant to go to when in trouble or just live there away from monsters running about.

The monsters were always running, never causing trouble among them, never doing anything they considered bad at all, they would always stay where they were at, mind their own business, go on with their day, avoid the sides where the two kings were due to some rumors of monsters going missing and even killed near the rivers or the darkest areas of the forests.

Many monsters that were found to be dead were gutted, decapitated, left with a marking that couldn’t be read even in their own language. They were told to stay away, away from the humans, away from any contact with them.

‘’We don’t need a war.’’

One monster said, it’s true they didn’t need a war but the discrimination of their kind and some going missing was starting to take a toll on them as each of the monsters were starting to get fed up with the two kings ignoring their pleas for help. Each and every time, they were met with silence or false hope.

Years and years, it got worse and worse.

Until, it happened.

A death.

The death of Keldor, the king’s brother.

Was found maimed to death, in his room. 

Bloody, butchered to death by someone who was….

A monster of all things.

A monster that broke and started….

The war. 

No one knew who it was, no one knew except for 

Randor.

Keeping that secret to himself, he sends that secret away to a brothel out in the outskirts of Eternia to be hidden and locked away.

Kept the secrets of Keldor, locked behind his heart and brain. Erased any mentions of keldor’s viscous doings away, only speaking about the good. Making everyone know that Keldor was indeed a good king and person, if anyone talked about him.

It was only for good, only for good.

Keldor’s victims were silenced.

But one wasn’t, he was heard.

Yet, taken away to the brothel.

After all, he was keldor’s dirty little secret.

A fling, a man and a monster.

What a hypocrite.

Killed monsters, yet would sleep with one and that one was-

Skeletor, the once and evil powerful warrior reduced to nothing. Nothing but a shell of his former self who now remains at the brothel against his will, he’s neutral now. Powerless, his magic and weapons taken away from him by Randor after he had killed Keldor in a fit of rage after undergoing an event that broke him mentally and physically, left with a reminder of Keldor.

He was imprisoned in the brothel, he couldn't escape. He can never escape, he is trapped. The clients ignore him due to hearing some rumors and things about him that make the other monsters bully and hurt him in ways that make him scared to leave his room. He’s always already scared to begin with, due to holding a secret that he was the one to kill Keldor.

No one knows it was him, if he talks. He’ll die. The brothel is already a fate worse than death, along with being sterilized against his will.

He has to keep it a secret, he has to. No must know that he brought hope to the monsters, starting the war.

The owners of the brothel are kind and sweet, they try to help Skeletor no matter what. They know he’s here, they know what he did, they want to help but….

Randor will kill them, they gotta keep it a secret. If they help, Randor will come.

What about Prince Adam/He-man?

He runs the rebellion, fighting for the monsters. Fighting for them, Randor doesn’t know it and Adam intends to keep it that way until the day comes to overthrow him.

He’s strong, charismatic, thoughtful, kind and will help anyone in danger. He doesn’t know who killed Keldor, he doesn’t care for him but a part of him kind of does. He doesn’t know why, he doesn’t have any memorable memories of him, just snippets and readings. He does question his father but always got-

‘’Your uncle was a good man.’’

Was he a good man, he wondered. The monsters who had their loved ones go missing, always talked about a man who always appeared in the night or during the day, watching from afar. Staring weirdly with a sword.

Teela’s, Adam's friend, talked about how She met Keldor once as a child and felt off about him. He was nice, but it felt like a mask. Would always be talking under his breath, standing by her side, always looking with a grim look. 

‘’Your uncle…was..weird.’’’

She said once, never elaborating on it. Her father felt the same way, but hid it well.

‘’Your uncle was hard to read, a difficult man. But…good…hopefully.’’

He then asked the sorceress and his mother.

‘’Your uncle, I never had a chance to talk to him. He would always be missing, going into the woods, just travelling, doing his thing but he was really sweet when he will be here at times.’’

‘’Your uncle, prince adam? I’m afraid i don’t know anything about him, not even on the day he passed. It was like evil was gone that day and hope was born.’’

Different things, different perspectives. Adam hoped to find out more as the rebellion grows as he grows like the love he had for….

The one who started it all, Skeletor.

Skeletor doesn’t know Adam is Randor’s son, he just thinks he is some poor servant who serves the king and Adam doesn’t know Skeletor killed Keldor.

So bada bing bada boom!

Everyone has fucking secrets.

Adam discovered the brothel during his travels, after word got out about monsters and humans being trafficked, going to the outskirts, into the red kingdom/red light district. He found the brothel, found Skeletor fighting against the monsters. Being backed into a corner, being hit and beat, his clothes being ripped apart.

The owners weren’t there that day, they were in talks with Randor. No was there to help Skeletor, no one to save nor protect, he was alone and about to get assaulted by a handful of monsters until Adam stepped in.

Protecting him, covering him with his jacket, Adam fought off and scolded the monsters. Driving them away until the owners came and kicked them out.

Skeletor, always in fight or flight. Almost knocked Adam out, but Adam calmed him down. Reassured him, he was there to help.

He knew he couldn’t get anyone out of this brothel. But he knew that his father was behind this brothel from the owners giving the information to him with no hesitation, they too wanted freedom, they wanted the workers to be free and away from this place, giving Adam more reasons to fight for them and be against his father even more.

They want Skeletor to have justice, Skeletor at this point doesn’t hope for anything.

Doesn’t think anything can be good for him, doesn’t think anyone can be here for him, he just wants to be alone.

Adam doesn’t want him to be alone, at all. Not after that encounter, not after what happened. Not after that event.

So, he decided….

To be there for him, and maybe just maybe….

Be the one to help the rabbit to run away from it’s cage.

From that day on, a relationship blossomed between them.

It’s slow, but gentle.

Adam never pressures, he’s sweet to Skeletor. Treating him equally, giving him some money. (he steals money from his father), getting him stuff, rebuilding him bit by bit until Skeletor manages to find his way back from internal hell.

Keldor did some damage, but the things he did.

Need to be known, released and only…

Adam can do it, with the help of Skeletor.

Can these two make it? Can these two hold there secrets until there spilled, will they able to be together, will they survive, will…

Eternia survives everyone’s secrets?

Concept design of Skeletor, scarred and quiet. Always in fight or flight, his mind and body was used by Keldor. Frequent abuse led to him losing things slowly until the event that broke him made him break completely, leading to killing Keldor. Often being called Keldor’s dirty little secret by Keldor himself.

He wasn’t the first victim, but was the one to end Keldor. Only to be reminded of the scars, the nightmares, Keldor appears in his dreams or hallucinations, taunting him. He’s afraid to sleep, afraid to be near anyone again, afraid to be alive to the point the owners of the brothel bring food or stuff to him where the other monsters can’t get to him, Adam is the first after a long time to be gentle, to listen and be nice.

Adam visits him, to just hang and talk.

Once in a while, when things are getting heated. When the tensions are high, they end up in bed.

The first few times, he was still as a board. Laying flat on the bed with no movement, Adam didn’t do anything, he felt disgusted. Even horrified when he checked Skeletor, finding out he was dissociating.

He stayed with him, helping him through the dissociation. Whoever it was, that left him like this.

Deserved death.

After a while, taking him out and treating him on dates. He got better but the lingering feeling he held stayed but only for a little bit.

Now when sex comes, it’s a bit overwhelming but Adam guides and helps him through it. Treats him gently, makes love to him, compliments and kisses him, staying with him all night.

Never leaving until he actually has to.

Granting him peace and security.

For once, Skeletor feels safe….

With the one who’ll set him and his people free.

That's all for now, I got some more lore and info about this whole au that's consuming my attention. some things might change, some might not. but this is the one I have for now that's staying complete in my head.

here's a few things, Skeletor was sterilized against his will for the fun of it and the first to survive the process. Lynn is dead and Keldor is still half Demon/monster but a separate being! etc.
