I also thought making Ben a stranger was an interesting choice. Instead of replacing Uncle Ben it felt like Peter found someone who showed him kindness at exactly the moment he needed it most. Ben asking about Peter before himself and telling him to use his goodness for good made his death feel meaningful.

The ending at the police station was probably my favorite part. Tony's panic Peter quietly saying Someone died and the silence between them said so much without needing a big emotional scene.

I'm an artist who loves creating character art and story illustrations, and this chapter gave me a strong visual idea. I can picture Peter sitting alone under the cold streetlights with Ben beside him and then the contrast of him in the police station staring at the blood on his hands. I'd love to draw something inspired by those moments someday.

Peter always knew he was the odd one out in his family. It wasn't like he didn't try, he did try to be apart of the family just when he was younger and it never worked. He was never able to connect with anyone, at least not the way Harley connected with their dad, or the way Morgan had everyone wrapped around her little finger since the day she was born.

Peter was just there, in a way he believed that he wasn't important, not to his family anyway. That was what he always believed, at least before he got his powers and became the one and only Spider-man.

Maybe there was a reason why he was always the odd one out after all.
