Now that I am so back into Horizons, I wanted to give New Leaf another try. I got it on launch day as a teenager with money from my job at Sonic, and I remember loving the launch and playing just before E3 that year. But otherwise I have very little memory of it for some probably sad reason. Let's see how take 2 goes! (Sorry for the poor screen cap lmao)

If you’re looking for a fairly vanilla hack with a new region and story then this might be the one for you, if you haven’t already played Unbound. Stats are rebalanced to help make any Pokemon more fun to use and there are a handful of interesting but unofficial Megas, but for the most part this is a pretty straightforward Pokemon game. The QOL is unmatched too, you can freely edit IVs and EVs and there are in-game cheats for stuff like max rare candies and nuggets. I think my biggest complaint is that it takes way too long to get Fly. My favorite feature is the Zoo, which allows you to donate Pokemon to several different exhibits with nice rewards along the way - the puzzle of figuring out which of your Pokemon should go to which exhibits is interesting and it’s a nice way to use up boxed Pokémon that otherwise would sit in storage untouched. Will I go for 100% retro achievements, I don’t know, probably not.

On today's episode of Justice is Blind...

Had to train my Calves of Steel in honor of the upcoming AJ Case 3 play through today. I have a neat set up with my bike on a trainer with a little folding table and my Switch 2 so I can grind Animal Crossing - today I spent two hours working on the freaking Nook Miles tasks and then grinding materials for the crafting tasks while listening to the Dungeon Crawler Carl Book 3 Audio Immersion Tunnel. God I’m a mess.

Shortest day of "real time" Ace Attorney ever - wish you could say the same about the case itself.

I almost missed today's hottest events due to once again being on nights, but thankfully I'm at the end of the stretch and just almost can settle down and enjoy watching the same music video several times and poor blind children being abused and accused.

I am stuck between night shifts this case but have managed to squeeze this in somehow. I need to start planning my off days around future cases.
