Electricity magic/demons being overpowered as fuck in Mundus's (and humanity's, tbh) panopticon society.

I also like to headcanon that Bob was some kind of electricity demon, and also that you can TECHNICALLY use images on a screen like the painting portals in DMC1. You might have to add some arcane/demonic sigils into the hardware of the screen you're using, but the basic principle is the same. You create an image of a place you want to do, add in some Alchemical bullshit, and you can use it as a portal. It's still relatively limited- at least, if the portal paintings in DMC1 are anything to go by. But still useful. Especially if you can link them up.

Bob being an electricity demon kinda ties in with this, too. We've seen demons have their own weird little pocket dimensions in the preboot universe (Nightmare and Mundus from DMC1, the Fault demons from DMC4, that weird trap that V got sucked into that Malphas set up in DMC5), so I guess it'd make sense that demons in the reboot universe could do something similar. Factoring in Limbo, I always figured Bob's weird prison dimension worked more like... like a bubble in a river, y'know? He's got his set territory in Limbo, with human souls in it, and he has influence within that sphere. That's partially why his "eyes" are outside of his prison area; they feed back to him, but he doesn't have direct control over everywhere they're posted.

Anyway. Idk if you could go full Digimon with this type of thing, but regardless, electricity powers that let you basically act like a walking EMP field, or even just give you the ability to fry or turn off any electronic devices you don't like seems like it'd be a GREAT skill to have for hiding in a demonic panopticon society. Vergil could probably make the best use of it, given his computer skills, but Dante and Kat could still benefit from it, too.

Kinda love the idea of the twins both learning how to use electricity magic, just to do shit like this. I headcanon they both got some innate cloaking abilities from the amulets and spells (or whatever) their parents put on them, as well as having some innate skill with hiding themselves in shadow. Either literal shadow, or just making themselves not show up on camera or digitally, or just making people's attention slip away from them, wherever they went. Or some combo thereof. I figure that glamour faded as they got older- just, the energy running out, since Eva was dead and Sparda wasn't around to renew it. Probably it ran out faster on Dante than it did on Vergil, because Dante's been fighting demons for so much longer than Vergil has. And getting hurt (hopefully) more than he has. (I have a whole rant about the hair color differences between the Nephilim twins. Don't get me started. I already made a post about it, I'll @ you if you want.)

DmC'S SOUNDTRACK IS SUPERIOR.

Feel free to use these if you want. For Dante:

-Him making little pins out of bottle caps, safety pins, and super glue, to put on his jacket. Paint over them to add your own designs! Kat could probably make them into little anti demon charms, if they can get the detail work just right on something that small.

-Kat using Dante's blood for her rift and anti demon sigils/spells. Mostly to replace some the more... unsavory ingredients that Kat uses. Because I mean, why not? Mundus is dead. Idk if any demons that are left could track Dante's blood through the smell of whatever else Kat uses, and it IS still kinda a biohazard (cause, y'know, BLOOD. DO NOT INHALE THAT SHIT. WEAR A MASK.), but it'd presumably work just as well as Kat's old ingredients. Possibly better, since Nephilim are so good at crossing the realms.

-Dante awakening healing powers, probably from his mom's side of the family. But I mean, even demons can heal, at least in the preboot continuity, so do with that what you will.

-Dante having fire powers and Vergil having ice powers, post game. Because I mean, we see Frost Knights and Hell Knights, so why not?

-Kat being able to do some elemental magic post game. Because [something about Limbo collapsing into the real world]. And also because Kat deserves to be able to float and chuck fireballs at people. As a treat.
