actually i dont think anybody should be kicked out of their home into the wilderness to never see their family or children again because they told a lie. hope this helps.

#didn’t Bluestar do the same fkin thing by allowing everyone to assume her kits were #thrushpelt’s? I don’t see anyone saying she deserved to be kicked out for that #hell I’m pretty sure Bluestar and Mapleshade have similar stories on purpose #Bluestar shows why the treatment of Mapleshade and her kits was wrong #it’s the same with Graystripe and Silverstream and how they show another alternative #all thee of these relationships just highlight why the ‘no relationships outside your clan’ rule was not only stupid but massively harmful #both for the cats involved and their children #like yes each of these cats made mistakes #bluestar was purposely ambiguous about her kits father and then lied abt them dying after sending them to Riverclan #Graystripe massively struggled with his loyalties for a long time and Feather and Storm were eventually left fending for themselves in #a clan that looked down on them for their heritage #and Mapleshade was also ambiguous with her kits father (which was arguably worse since the cat she let people assume was dead)#people just want to justify Mapleshade’s hardships because they don’t want to acknowledge #that she’s a horrible cat who did horrible things AND went through extremely traumatic and unfair treatment that at least partially led her #to what she eventually did #mapleshade

I feel like a trend amongst warriors fans who liked the books as kids is when they were younger having a serious fascination/love for Icecloud and Foxleap. Like I’m so curious what it was about them that really intrigued kids.
