Red Clover - Chapter One

“Got everything you need? Application papers, ID?”

Roland rolled his eyes and hugged his father. The mountain of a man could be such a worry wart  sometimes. He held on tight for a few seconds, but soon he had to tap on the old Professor’s back, the larger man’s arms making his ribcage creak.

“H-hey! C'mon Dad, we live like ten minutes away from the university, I don’t have any classes this week and you’re going to be two buildings down. If there’s any problems I can just hop over and go see you.”“Got everything you need? Application papers, ID?”  Roland rolled his eyes and hugged his father.
