I love how Zohran Mamdani is wearing a suit everywhere. And if he has anything else he puts it ON TOP of the suit. A basketball jersey. A high-vis vest. All worn over the suit. He’s like the mayor character in a cartoon who’s always dressed as The Mayor. If I didn’t know who he was and he biked past me in NYC I’d be like holy shit was that the mayor

backing up against him to spoon in the morning. he’s still asleep for the most part, but he opens up to you. his arm folds over you, hand cupping your breast. his leg stretching over yours. you’re his for him to keep there, soft and warm, and you’re not sure he’s even conscious about it as he starts grinding his growing morning wood against your ass

Buckynat is such a good ship because what if you were both victims and also unwilling perpetrators (which is also part of your victimhood, but a lot of people, including yourself, don't see it that way), and then comes this one person who does know intimately all the ways you've been violated and all that you've done, and this person is the one good thing in all of it, and maybe you can't forgive yourself for all the things that happened, but you can love this one person who is so much like you, that maybe it almost feels like absolution.

That's kind of why they exist actually

there's something special to having a relationship with someone entirely your own that you don't realize how differently they act for you. they're comfortable with you so they often nap in your presence, and you realize after talking with someone else that they actually have a difficult time falling asleep otherwise. everyone else sees them as quiet and serious but they regularly crack jokes with you. the opportunity to know someone that they may reveal unto you sides of themselves that exist for few <3
