"Mom! I can't find my backpack!" Bunny called down the stairs. The 12 year old was going on a field trip with her class to DC for two days. Tonight was the night before they left and she was still not finished packing. "Where am I gonna put all my stuff if I can't find my bag?"
Natasha was doing her work when her 12-year old called down from her room. She shook her head laughing. She went to her bedroom, and found it. She then made her way up to her daughter’s room. “Relax, Bun. I got it right here. You left it in my room last night after you got back with Clint. Are you sure you don’t want me to help you pack?” Natasha still had that fear in the back of her mind that daughter would be taken, so she was going to have James follow the field trip. Her daughter didn’t have to know.
He nodded over at her, and before walking over and placing a hand on her shoulder. “Oreo blast. I’m gonna grab a table, okay shooter?”
“Sure, I’ll be over in a bit.” Bunny answered with a smile. “Two Oreo blasts please.” She finishes the order and pays while they finish off cooking their order. “What would ya like?” She asks a few minutes later, sliding into the seat across from James.
He smiled, and took the tray of food to a booth by a window, so he could keep an eye on the car. He smirked, when she slid into the booth. “Hmmm...let’s start with the nuggets.”
