I’ve seen people talk about how Spamton was scared of Friend and a lot of his items are related to defense against cat elements and how the Keygen’s sell-value would have gotten him killed if Friend caught him on his way to the basement, but let me give a new theory.

What if Jevil was also scared of the Friend Pack? Friend’s a cat after all, and Jevil sits in a cage while acting like a bird mimicking its owner by repeating words.

He says he’s “IN MY OWN LITTLE FREEDOM!” while very clearly being in a cage. One that has an arch inside of it for the door. A birdcage.

Jevil is “free” because he’s still scared of the Friend Pack and they could be able to reach him if he left that cage, very similar to how birds and cats act around each other in houses.

And guess which two secret bosses change their shape to be items you equip!

Spamton and Jevil.
