Ah, come to think of it; Same as @suzyundertale, I also don't think that Chara would use 'ćć/kimi' when they are talking to anyone. It does seem too friendly(?) coming out from someone like them lol. I'd also add that the whole song's soft tone doesn't really fit Chara's image either haha. But what if, the entire song's point is to be an antithesis of what most people think about Chara?
(This might be subjective, but Iām being reminded of a certain VNās sad character image song that implemented this kind of antithesis with a seemingly completely cruel and evil character, and canāt help to think about that possibility)
I mean, I could imagine Chara using a more friendly pronoun when talking to someone in a lessā¦ antagonistic context than the end of the No Mercy run, even if we never get to see them do so. (Like maybe to Asriel when both of them were alive, or something.) But I guess I overall agree with what youāre saying, I think?

That song I mentioned before is Bernkastelās image song from Umineko. Canāt really explain the lyrics without spoiling both Umineko/Higurashi, but I think this song shows a good contrast from the characterās usual sadistic & cruel self.
Ah! Actuallyā¦ I only really know about Umineko secondhand, from fandom osmosis during the 2000ā²s, and via a friends of mine who likes it. She would probably be able to give better input on this comparison than I can. @napstaboops?
I discussed this a bit with Doge on Discord but, yeah I definitely can see what you mean comparing the contrast of Bernās song with her shown character and Chara possibly being the voice behind Donāt Forget being a contrast from what of their character we know in canon. I hadnāt considered it before looking at this and the previous post connected to it, Iād personally immediately thought it was Asriel talking to Kris or somethingā¦not sure why. But with this new knowledge, I do definitely like the possibility of Chara being the one behind the song! So, good find~
(We also had a discussion about the parallels between Chara and Bern and letās just say Iām glad I instinctively related the two in that random art I did of a crossover)
This just makes me really want to see the full version of the song and find out for certain whoās voice this is meant to be, tbh. Maybe weāll finally get confirmation for the fandom that is under the impression that Chara is inherently evil that theyāre instead just a kid thatās been through too much, and has more to themā¦
