I’ve seen the above photo of a supposedly Wong Kar-wai inspired laundromat going around the web recently. I had a good laugh at first, but my attempt to find out where it is located yielded no result, and that’s because it doesn’t exist. A simple reverse image lookup revealed that it’s actually photoshopped from a photo of a Korean laundromat in Connecticut.
Why the jokester didn’t pick a photo of a car wash to shop is forever a mystery to me.
