Waking up with him
Louis: "Ugh!" you groan as Louis once again lands a swift kick to your calf. You rub the sleep out of your eyes and turn to face Louis' sleeping form. Out of frustration you shove Louis enough to wake him up, he slowly rolls over and glares at you, "What?" he mutters groggily. You return the glare and reply "You kicked me again!" He furrows his eyebrows and says "Those aren't kicks, they're just love taps." You dramatically roll your eyes as Louis begins to laugh at his own comment. "Louis, you aren't the only one who needs their beauty sleep" you chuckle. He tucks a strand of hair behind your ear and replies with a wink, "You are beautiful enough already."
Liam: Liam's loud snoring jolts you from your sleep. You open your eyes and find yourself face-to-face with his peaceful resting face. You admire him fondly until another loud snore escapes from his mouth. You sigh, sitting up and brushing the hair away from your eyes. Every night is the same, you toss and turn throughout the night hearing his persistent snoring. "Liam," you call softly, rubbing his arm to wake him up. "Wha?" he asks, his eyes bleary with sleep. "I can't take this anymore Liam, your snoring is out of control," you exclaim. Liam tugs you down and he pulls you into his chest. You snuggle into him immediately. "I'm sorry babe. I'll call the sleep specialist and see if we can get it sorted out, but for now, I have something for you." He rolls onto his other side and reaches into the night stand next to the bed, pulling out a pair of earplugs and handing them to you. You take them and shake your head with laughter, "You had these the whole time?"
Harry: "Oh Angelia that's perfect," Harry mumbles repeatedly in his sleep. Now normally you don't get worked up over what he says in sleep, but Harry has said that phrase multiple nights in a row. Angelia? Who the fuck is Angelia?! you think. You mutter the name a few times to try to remember if he ever mentioned her. Nothing is ringing a bell, but it still eats at you. You see him sleeping peacefully and a rush of anger runs through your veins causing you to punch him in the gut. "Oof!" Harry moans and sits up to meet your eyes with pain in his own. "What the hell was that for?" he spats. "Who's Angelia?" you retort, crossing your arms over your chest. Harry gives you a bewildered look and replies "Who?" "Don't give me that act, you have been saying her name in your sleep all this week!" you exclaim. "Oh…. Ummm…. Do you really want to know?" he asks. "Of course, I do!" you reply. He pulls out a little black box and says, "She is my jeweler." You are speechless.
Niall: "Psst, (Y/N), wake up," Niall's voice breaks into your unconsciousness. "What is it?" you mumble, pulling a pillow over your head. "I can't sleep," he whines, rolling over restlessly. "I don't know Niall, go read a book or something," you say, voice muffled by the pillow. "We're just so much more interesting than some plain old book," he responds. "Sorry, I won't be my cheery self if I'm sleep deprived," you retort. He sighs, exasperated. After a few minutes of him tossing and turning, you finally give in, getting out of bed. "Come on," you tell him. "Where are we going?" he asks, confused. "To watch a movie," you reply. He cheers and follows you gladly, bringing the blanket from your bed with him. You collapse on the couch while Niall turns the movie on. You don't care what's playing, all you care about is getting some more sleep. Niall cuddles into you, playing the big spoon and before the movie even starts, you're back to sleeping, hoping that the movie puts Niall to sleep.
Requested: You meet Harry at a concert
“Oh my God, it’s them,” I whisper to myself in awe. I pull the baseball cap down over my eyes and continue to sweep the floor, hoping not to be seen. My garb doesn’t fool anyone because someone soon yells and points, “Hey! You don’t work here!” “Shit,” I mutter to myself and I turn to run. I am stopped in my tracks by a solid chest in my face. I look up with wide eyes only to be met with the piercing green eyes that only Harry Styles has. He chuckles and says, “Sorry Love didn’t see you there.” I open and close my mouth like a fish out of water, not knowing what to say. “I’ll let you get back to your ‘work’,” he tells me, making air quotes around the word work. I laugh nervously and pretend to check my imaginary watch, “Right…yeah…I should be going now.” I snap a few times and point at him, grinning and wiggling my eyebrows. Harry bursts into laughter at this. “I like you…what’s your name?” “(Y/N),” I reply with a blush. “I’d love to talk to you more. Do you want-” Harry’s cut off by some shrieking fans that see him through the open door. “Come on,” he says and grabs my arm, leading me further into the stadium. “What are you doing after the show?” “Honestly, I’m not doing much of anything.” “Good,” he smiles, “I’ll get you a pass to come backstage after the show and you can show me around town.” “That would be amazing,” I mumble. This is not happening, I think to myself. “Where should I meet you after the show?” I ask. “I’ll text you where we should meet,” he says, handing me his phone. I enter my name and number before someone calls him away. With one last look he says, “I’ll see you later tonight.” He then winks and walks over to the person who called him.

You're Getting Married, But He's Not The Groom: Liam
This should have been the happiest day in my life, arm and arm with my husband-to-be at our rehearsal dinner. The lavish meal began and my giddiness prevented me from noticing that my fiancé had slipped away for an unusually long amount of time. After having a short conversation with my mother I turn to get my fiancés attention only to be met with an empty chair. I look across the table to the best man and ask, “Do you know where Chad is?” He shrugs and says, “I don’t know.” I nod, thinking nothing of it, and decide to go to the bathroom. As I approach the door two figures emerge and I know who it is immediately. Chad is tucking his dress shirt into his pants and my cousin, Meredith, is fiddling with the belt on her dress. I am at a loss for words. The pair stops in their tracks when they notice me and they begin to stutter and make excuses about what happened in the bathroom. Everything clicks and my eyes open wide in realization. Shaking with rage, I rip the ring off of my finger and whip it at Chad yelling, “The wedding is off!” I turn towards the exit, tears blurring my vision. The cool air hits my face as I stumble out of the restaurant and into the arms of a stranger. “I’m so sorry,” my voice breaks and I begin sobbing. Strong arms pull me closer to calm me and I glance up at the man, recognizing him as one of the regulars at my gym. It’s Liam Payne, the boy that I’ve never had the courage to talk to. “Are you alright?” he asks me. I shake my head no unable to form words. He starts rocking me back and forth, murmuring calming things in my ear. Eventually the sobs subside and I can clearly see his chiseled jaw line. “I just found out that my cousin and my fiancé have been fooling around behind my back and I called off my wedding,” I explain tearing up again. Liam weaves his fingers through my hair and says, “Why would anyone want to cheat on such a pretty girl like you?” I gaze into his chocolate brown eyes and melt into his defined arms. He took me out for some tea and as I looked at him from across the table I knew that everything would be alright.
You're Getting Married, But He's Not The Groom: Harry:
Cling cling, goes the knife against the wine glass in Harry’s hand. He’s currently up on the small stage trying to gather everyone’s attention because he is about to say his best man speech. “I remember the time when Ken and I drank a little too much and Ken started to talk about (Y/N). I couldn’t get him to stop. He kept telling me that they were perfect for each other and that one day he would make her his wife. I didn’t believe him back then; they had only gone on their first date that night,” the audience and I laugh at his story, “But now I realize that I should have taken him more seriously because here we are, at (Y/N) and Ken’s wedding.” Harry glances over at me with a pained smile on his face that makes me feel guiltier than ever. My cheeks begin to burn in embarrassment as I recall the events of the previous night with Harry. It’s true; Harry and I are fooling around behind Ken’s back. I’m not proud of it at all, but Ken’s work is his number one priority. At first it was just playful flirting with Harry, but when Ken started missing our appointments to plan the wedding and Harry started joining me did things become more intimate. The clapping of the audience brought me back to reality. “What’s wrong?” Ken asks me. I stared him confused until I felt the tears falling from my eyes. “Nothing,” I mumble before excusing myself to the bathroom. I can feel Harry’s gaze burning into my back as I make my way out of the large ballroom. I rushed into the bathroom and grabbed a paper towel to clean up my running makeup. As I was doing so, I hear the soft click of the lock and I spin around, meeting Harry face-to-face. He looks quite dapper in his black suit, even though his piercing green eyes are wild with concern. “Are you okay?” he asks gently, caressing my cheek. I sigh, “No I’m not alright. We can’t keep doing this anymore Harry, it’s getting out of hand and I don’t want Ken getting hurt.” Harry looks shocked at my sudden change of heart. His hand cups my neck, looking at me intensely. “Are you sure you’re ready for this all to end?” he asks in a seductive voice. He brings his lips to my ear and places a kiss there before whispering, “You’re going to miss me when I’m gone.” I gasp at his words. “Maybe just one more time…”
You're getting married, but he's not the groom.
Louis
Thoughts are racing through my mind as I stared at myself in the full length mirror, admiring the beautiful lace gown your parents had bought. Doubts are running through my head when I visualize my fiancé, Jeff waiting for me at the end of the aisle. It wasn’t Jeff’s fault that I was suffering from a severe case of the cold feet. Jeff is a good, stable, dependable guy with a nice job, but there is something missing. It’s too predictable, I already feel like we are an old married couple… I can’t do this, I thought. I tore off my vail and gathered the large skirt in my arms and ran through the building towards the street. All of the guests were settled in the church and I heard music begin, haunting me, but I pushed it away and scurried towards the street. Without the looking both ways, I stepped out into the street and was startled by the loud horn of a car. It’s wasn’t the car’s horn that took my breath away, but the handsome man who popped out to see if I was okay. “Watch where you are-(Y/N)? Is it really you?” he asked running his hands through his lush chestnut brown hair. “Louis?!” I squinted in disbelief, the sunlight casting a shadow over his thin frame. “I couldn’t have imagined how beautiful you look in that wedding dress… Whoever he is, he is the luckiest man in the world. I regret never having the courage to ask you out,” he said rubbing his fingers against his stubble. He grabbed my waist, pulling me closer to him as he gently placed his lips on mine. Time froze around us, I gasped against his lips before deepening the kiss. Once we finally broke away from each other, I realized I found the missing piece of a puzzle that made my life complete; it was Louis. We ran into his car and drove off without a care in the world with my hands in the air.
Preference 68: He’s jealous of your ex: (Zayn, Liam, and Niall)
Preference 68: He’s jealous of your ex: (Zayn, Liam, and Niall)
Zayn:
You and your last boyfriend didn’t end on good terms. There was screaming and yelling and at one point there was a plate smashed on the floor, you couldn’t remember who threw it though. Zayn really had nothing to worry about because you never wanted to see that jerk again. Unfortunately, you ran into (Y/E/N) while going to the coffee shop with Zayn.
“(Y/N)? Is that you?” (Y/E/N) asked after apologizing for running into you.
“Hey (Y/E/N),” you replied, holding Zayn’s hand just a bit tighter in yours.
“Wow, you look really good,” he complimented with a smirk. You could see Zayn giving him the death glare out of the corner of your eye.
“Thanks.”
“Aren’t you going to say something nice about me?” (Y/E/N) asked in a joking matter. Zayn stiffened beside you.
“You see, I would, but there isn’t anything nice about you,” you retorted.
(Y/E/N) was shocked to say the least. He opened his mouth to say something but decided against it. He turned away without saying anything else.
“What a prick,” Zayn muttered after he had left. You two resumed your walk to the coffee house.
You laughed lightly, “I saw you murdering him in your head Z.”
Zayn blushed, “I didn’t like the way he spoke to you, but I know you can hold your own.”
You grinned at him. “Thanks Zayn. Him and I didn’t really end on good terms, but thank goodness we broke up, because I’ve found someone so much better.”
Zayn leaned down and pecked you on the lips. “If we see that prick again I won’t hesitate to hurt him.”
Liam:
After you and (Y/E/N) broke up, you two decided to just stay friends. You two didn’t end badly, you both were just so busy that neither of you had time for your relationship. You had managed to stay friends after you broke up, but every time you told Liam that you were texting him or going out to lunch with him, he got upset.
“Why are you always talking to him and going out with him?” Liam whined.
The two of you are watching a movie and your phone kept buzzing. Of course it was (Y/E/N), wanting to hang out with you.
You brushed your fingers through Liam’s hair, “Because we’re friends.”
“Well I don’t like it,” he told you honestly, “I don’t like the fact that you’re hanging out with your ex at all.”
“Oh is someone a little jealous?” you asked him.
“No. Okay well a little,” he admitted, “I just don’t like the idea of you two being alone.”
You could see how upset he really was about this whole ordeal. “Alright,” you tell him, “I won’t hang around him as much anymore. You’re the only man for me Mr. Payne.”
Liam smiled up at you before leaning up to kiss you gently.
“Thank you (Y/N).”
Niall:
Today Niall and the boys wanted to do something that they normally wouldn’t, so here you all are, going horseback riding. You decided that you wanted someone to guide your horse, being scared of trying to guide the horse all alone. It turns out that the person that was going to help guide your horse was your ex, (Y/E/N).
“(Y/N)? I didn’t know that you were into this kind of thing. I remember when we were dating you never wanted to come horseback riding with me,” he told you.
Niall had stopped conversation with the other boys when he had heard that you and this boy had dated before.
“People change I guess,” you replied.
“Can we go now?” Niall asked rudely.
You elbowed Niall lightly, sending him a ‘Don’t be rude’ look.
(Y/E/N) scratched his head, “Eh, yeah, let’s go.”
You actually had a wonderful day. (Y/E/N) was being really nice to you and you guys talked a lot about what you were up to these days. It was nice. You had laughed so hard that you almost fell off of your horse. You didn’t even realize that Niall was fuming, a white-knuckled grip on the saddle.
After the ride was over, (Y/E/N) gave you his new phone number and told you to call so that you could hang out again. Niall stomped over, took the slip of paper from your hands and shoved it back at the guy.
“She won’t be needing this,” he tells your ex before pulling you in for a heated kiss.
You hear your ex huff and walk away.
You pull away from Niall a bit dazed, “What was that?”
“He’s been flirting with you all day, I had to do something,” he tells you. Niall takes your hand in his and says, “We’re never going horseback riding again.”

66: He Goes on Tour without Saying Goodbye: Niall, Zayn, and Harry:
(Liam and Louis)
Niall:
“Sorry babe, I got so wasted last night celebrating our last night in town and Liam just took me to his place after and I passed out. This morning I was so hungover and I just wanted to sleep it off and my phone was dead so I couldn’t call you,” Niall explained to you in a rush. “Niall,” you chuckled, “It’s okay, I’m not mad.” “You’re not?” Niall asked, confusion clear in his voice. “No, I know you had a busy night Ni,” you told him. You could hear his sigh of relief on the line, “Thanks (Y/N). I love you.” “Love you too Ni, now go get some rest and I’ll talk to you later.”
Zayn:
“I thought you wouldn’t want to speak to me,” Zayn mumbled to you. “I didn’t, but when I woke up and you were completely gone I became very worried and I couldn’t get ahold of you so I started thinking of all of the things that could go wrong and that the last thing that I would have ever said to you was that-” “(Y/N), calm down babe, I’m not hurt or anything, I’m just really sorry for not leaving you a note,” he replied. “No, I’m sorry Zayn,” you told him. “Well we can both be sorry then,” he tried lightening the mood. You laughed, “Alright then.”
Harry:
“(Y/N) I’m really terribly sorry,” Harry pleaded into the phone. “Harry, you didn’t even tell me you were leaving! did you think that I wouldn’t notice that you were gone for four months?” you told him angrily. “Okay...I’ll admit it that this was not the smartest idea.” “No kidding,” you scoffed. “But I know how upset you get when I tell you that I’m leaving,” Harry said softly. “It upsets me more when you don’t tell me at all,” you muttered. “I understand that now and I’m truly sorry (Y/N). Please forgive me.” You sighed,” Well there’s no reason I shouldn't forgive you.”

Preference 14: On a Plane: Liam:
Preference 14: On a Plane:
Liam:
You didn’t fly often - in fact, you never did. Unless it was an emergency. A wedding wouldn’t really classify as an emergency, especially since it was of a distant cousin, but your mother promised you’d be there, and you weren’t about to make her look bad. Pushing away all thoughts, you stared out the window, watching as the city below grew smaller and smaller. Your heart was pounding in your chest, fingers tapping anxiously on the arm rest. There was nothing to worry about; there was a greater chance of being attacked by a shark than getting in a plane crash - and you didn’t swim with sharks, so you liked to think those chances were even smaller. It wasn’t the heights, you lived on the top floor of your building for goodness sake. It was just the whole idea of being stuck in a metal contraption flying high in the sky with no control over it at all.
“First time flying?” A voice interrupted your terrifying thoughts.
You cleared your throat, and wiped the nervous look off of your face. “Nope,” you replied a little too casually. “Just not that often…”
“Nervous flyer, yeah?” His smile was wide and warm, comforting you; but it still wasn’t enough to take your mind off of the fact you’d be stuck up here for the next five hours. You nodded, gripping the armrests and glancing back at the window: nothing but forest below you. “I think we’ll be okay, love.” You got a good look at him: brown hair, buzzed at the sides, but a little longer at the top. His brown eyes appeared golden in the sunlight pouring in through the window, and his radiant smile did help with your anxiety (as much as you hated to admit).
“Do you fly often?” You asked, keeping your eyes locked on his, avoiding the sickening view out the window. He seemed relaxed - more than relaxed; like he lived his whole life on airplanes.
He nodded and laughed. He was unable to believe that you didn’t recognize him. He liked it, though, and kept on with conversation normally, for both of your sake. “You could say that. I travel around a lot...for work,” he added. You nodded, understanding. You once turned down a job that traveled too much. “What makes you so nervous?”
You shrugged. “Anything can go wrong...and there is nothing I can really do about it,” you sighed, shrugging and dropping your eyes.
He noticed that your smile fell, and dropped the subject, hoping to get to see that smile again. “I’m Liam,” he introduced, holding out a hand for you to shake - rather awkwardly.
“[Y/N],” you replied, shaking his hand, unsuccessfully smothering your giggles. He smiled, relieved, as you eased up.
And that was how the ride went; with Liam trying his very best to keep your mind off of the “metal death contraption” as you described it to him. He seemed very easy to talk to and the more you listened to his stories, the more relaxed you felt. You felt as if you had known Liam for years when in reality it had only been hours.
Much to your dismay the plane had made it to it’s destination with no major delays. Not that you wanted a major delay, you just wanted to spend a bit more time with your new friend. Liam helped you up from your seat and walked you to the airport. He even carried your luggage for you like the gentleman he was and he hailed a cab for you.
You hugged Liam tightly, “Thank you for making the flight less terrifying.”
“No problem [Y/N],” he chuckled. “You should call me...er - ” He cut himself off, a mad blush making itself known on his cheeks. “I mean, before you get on the plane - for your ride home; you know, if you want to. You don’t have to, but, I mean, I would - ”
“Liam,” you said, holding up and hand and cutting him off, relieving him from his nervous ramble. “I need your number.”
And with that, he graciously gave you his phone for you to add yourself in. You both ended up talking nearly every minute you both had free time. Needless to say, you did call him. A lot.

Zayn:
Zayn was fuming as you walked over to the closet where you would be spending the next seven minutes. He wasn’t just upset because he wasn’t just upset because he wasn’t the one to be trapped in a closet with you; he was upset because you would be spending the next seven minutes trapped in a closet with your ex. You weren’t too thrilled about it either and by the smirk on your ex’s face as you approached the closet you could tell that this night was going to end poorly.”Hey (Y/N),” (Y/E/N) smugly smiled as you shoved your way into the closet. The door slammed shut behind you two and you heard the laughter of the people at the party as you and your ex were barricaded in. “Let’s do this,” he said, pushing himself up against you and leaning in for a kiss. “(Y/E/N)! What the hell?” you yelled as you shoved him off of you. “What’s wrong (Y/N)? You don’t love me anymore?” “You broke up with me you asshole, but yes. You know I have a boyfriend so touch me again and you’re dead,” you threatened. (Y/E/N) put his hands up in surrender and you stalked to the door waiting for your dreadful time to go by. The remaining time was spent in silence and you almost jumped for joy when you heard the chair being removed from under the door handle. Before the door opened, (Y/E/N) squeezed your butt. You turned around in shock and swung your fist at his head. You connected and you heard a sickening crack. (Y/E/N) yelped in pain and you turned around massaging your knuckles. There was a crowd gathered at the door and Zayn was standing in the front with a smile plastered on his face. “That was so hot,” he whispered in your ear as he took your hurt knuckles and brought them to his mouth in a kiss.
Sixth Member Series (SMS): Joining the Band: (Niall and Harry):
Sixth Member Series (SMS): Joining the Band: (Niall and Harry):
Niall:
Sure the female fan base was large-very large- but the male fan base was almost non-existent, so they brought you in. You were the whole package, pretty, funny, and your voice was amazing. The boys were weary of the idea to bring in another member, especially a girl. They didn’t think that they could act like themselves around you at first, but as soon as they met you they all warmed up quick. The boys all thought of you as one of the guys, all of them except Niall. Niall had a soft spot for you, and it was obvious, You secretly liked him too, but you were nervous for your career, especially since you had just gotten this job, so you kept your crush a secret. They boys would tease Niall about liking you and it took all you had to keep the blush off of your face.
Harry:
The fans voted. You were surprised with the outcome because you knew just how hostile the fans could be. 79% of the fan base voted you in the band. Sure there were people who didn’t want you in the band, but you didn’t let them get to you. The only person who didn’t like you and you let it get to you was Harry. The boys loved you even before the voting commenced - they admitted to secretly voting numerous times off of their personal accounts - but for some reason Harry didn’t like you. You didn’t understand. You haven’t done anything intentional to make him hate you, you had a little crush on him in fact. That crush quickly disappeared the more rude he was to you. You had no idea that he had a massive crush on you and that he had to hide it because dating in the band wasn’t allowed. So you and Harry began to hate each other more and more. Your hatred was mostly real and it hurt him, but this was the way things had to be, in his mind at least.

Zayn:
Row 12, seat 1; you made your way down the aisle, past people cramming their too big of bags into the overhead storage, past mothers handling their screaming children, past the lost souls frantically searching for their seats. Breathing a sigh of relief as your seat came into view, you placed your messenger bag in the place left for you in the above head storage, and took your seat next to a black-haired man. Not thinking twice, you settled into a comfy position, closing your eyes, waiting for the stewardess to make her usual announcements.
Once everyone settled down, she began the schpeel, consisting of exit locations and seatbelt directions - nothing new to you. “You’re flying alone?”
You found yourself cocking your head to the left, a pair of brown eyes meeting yours. You couldn’t help but stare, as his features were sharp, his jawline grazed with stubble, and his black hair disheveled. Feeling your cheeks turn pink in embarrassment, you dropped your eyes and remembered his question. “Yeah,” you respond, quieter than you meant. “You, too, huh?” A small smile pulled at your lips, and when you brought your eyes back to his, he couldn’t suppress his smile.
“You got me.” White teeth poked out from behind his plump lips. “Where are you off to, being alone and all?”
“I’m visiting my family,” you replied honestly. “They live overseas; I try to visit for birthdays and stuff…”
He nodded, shifting to a more comfortable position, resting the back of his head against the headrest. “What brings you over?”
“Work.” You mentally cursed yourself at your curtness and bit back your tongue. He replied once again with a nod, and you realised he was trying to make conversation, but wasn’t one to strike up conversations with strangers.
“Me too.” With that, you gave one more polite smile and pulled out your headphones, turning your music on and shutting your eyes, hoping for a long flight of rest. Turbulence was not a factor you considered in your flight plans, though. Every now and then - right when you were about to doze off - the plane shook just the right amount to jolt you from your restful state. You poked open one eye to look around annoyedly, and found the man with the brown eyes glancing at you from the corner of his eyes. He’d turn towards the window before you got the chance to say anything, and every time, you could notice the pink tint on his cheeks. Biting your lip to hide your smile, you dropped your head back to the seat and shut your eyes, not wanting to look away from the handsome man, but feeling uncomfortable and foolish for staring.
The rest of the flight went by slowly, every now and then feeling the rumble of turbulence underneath you and vibrating up the seat. Before you knew it, you landed safely and were free to leave the cramped airplane and find your sister. While you were working on gathering your carry-on from the compartment above your seat, a man - quite large in stature - pushed past you, knocking everything from your arms. Stumbling forward into the seat, you braced for a fall - but nothing came. Instead, a pair of large hands wrapped around your arms, steading you against a broad chest. Your heart stopped. “Oh my - ” you mumbled, your cheeks flaming, stumbling for something to say. “I’m so sorry!”
A chuckled escaped his mouth. “Not a problem, love,” he replied.
Straightening, you crouched down, quickly gathering the fallen items, and abruptly stood, juggling all of the junk in your arms, trying not to make yourself look even more stupid - which, of course, was unavoidable. Lining up to exit the plane, you didn’t dare look back at the man you sat next to, thinking of how bad you just embarrassed yourself.
You weaved in and out of the crowd, meeting your sister at one of the gates. She gave you a welcoming hug, asked how you were - the normal routine. But, this time, you responded with a glare. “I sat next to the best looking man in the whole world. And I blew it - it was so embarrassing!” you groaned, rubbing your temple from frustration and staring at the ground.
She wrapped an arm around your shoulder. “What else is new?” she teased. The two of you began towards the baggage claim, waiting for your bag to roll around. “But how good looking was this guy?”
“His face was chiseled by gods.”
Your sister giggled, pointing out your bag, and offering to let you go back to find him. “You can’t let a guy like that go.”
“You should have seen how stupid I looked,” you replied, swinging your bag over your shoulder. “I didn’t even get his name - I’d look even more pathetic.” You were awarded with an eye roll and she escorted you to the exit of baggage claim.
You gasped as you were pulled to a stop by a hand on your shoulder. You twisted on your heel quickly, ready to tell off the bastard, extremely pissed off by how the events of the plane ride played out. Your breath hitched in your throat when your eyes landed on the brown ones from before. “You forgot this,” he whispered, breathing heavily, looking as though he was searching frantically throughout the whole airport to return this to you - and, eventually, you found out thats exactly what he had done.
“Thank you,” was all you could manage to say as he handed you the iPod that you forgot to pick up after you dropped all of your stuff back on the plane. He gave you another smile and turned around, leaving you with the iPod and a mess of headphones. Untangling the cords, you found the small piece of scratch paper with his name and number scrawled over it in chicken scratch. A smile broke out on your face and you turned to your sister who stood with her mouth ajar and eyes wide.
“After how many years of being sisters, you're going to tell me you don’t recognize Zayn Malik?”

Preference 66: He Goes on Tour without Saying Goodbye: (Liam and Louis):
Liam:
“Um...did you forget something?” you asked into the phone to your best friend. “(Y/N), I’m so sorry! I know I forgot to tell you goodbye but it seemed like everybody-and I mean everybody- knew that I was leaving! There were so many people and the drivers took me straight to the airport instead of stopping off at yours on the way like I told them! I didn’t forget, I swear,” Liam explained in a rush. “It’s okay Li,” you chuckled, “I forgive you.” “Thanks (Y/N),” Liam sighed in relief. “No problem, but I’m expecting double hugs when you get home,” you told him with a smile. “I can do that,” he laughed.
Louis:
“(Y/N), we were fighting at the time,” Louis replied into the phone after you told him that he had forgotten to say goodbye to you.” “It doesn't matter,” you muttered as you kicked the ground with your foot, “You still should’ve said goodbye.” Louis sighed into the phone, “I know (Y/N), I know. How about you fly out to visit me for a bit and then I can say a proper goodbye?” you grinned at how cute your best friend was, “I’d love that Lou.”

Louis:
"C'mon (Y/N), it's been two weeks," your best friend Louis sighed into the phone. He was currently on tour which was unfortunate for you because your boyfriend had broken up with you two weeks ago and your really needed him right now. "I know Lou," you sniffled, "I just wish you were here." "I wish I could be there with you (Y/N). But just because I'm not doesn't mean that you can stay cooped up in your house until I get home, okay? So go out today." "I don't want to," you told him. "You have to (Y/N). Just go get the mail or something, I'll even come with you," Louis told you. You could tell that he wore a smile on his face, so you got up to go get the mail. "Okay I just walked down the stairs and now I'm on the sidewalk and I'm in my pj's and the sun is shining and I feel horribly exposed," you trailed off as you made your way to the mailbox. "I don't need a play-by-play (Y/N)," Louis chuckled into the phone as you flicked through the mail. One stopped you. "Lou, what did you send me?" you asked him. "Open it," he replied simply. You did as told and you pulled out a plane ticket. You gasped. "You're coming to visit me," Lou yelled. You squealed in happiness. "Since I can't be at home for you, you have to come to me!" "Thank you so much Lou!" "You're welcome (Y/N), now go pack!"
Niall:
"Niall, honestly, I've moved on. I've even got myself a new boyfriend," you told him. You were talking to Niall on the phone trying to explain to him that you were alright after being broken up with by your short-term boyfriend. Niall had called you everyday worried about you because you had called him sobbing your guts out. "Oh yeah? What's his name?" Niall challenged. You looked at the pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream in your hand. "Ben," you told him. "Is his best friends name Jerry? C'mon (Y/N), I'm smarter than that," Niall retorted. "I'm seriously fine Niall," you sighed, "I promise." "You don't sound fine (Y/N)." "Well I would be if you stopped bringing it up Ni," you admitted. "Sorry (Y/N)," Niall said quietly. "I just need something to occupy my mind," you confessed. "You should come hang with me on tour for a bit. The lads miss you," Niall said excitedly. "I don't know..." you trailed off. "Come on (Y/N)! It's the perfect idea! Plus, I really miss you lots," Niall whined. You chuckled, "Okay Ni, I'll come, but only because you miss me."
Liam:
"I cannot believe that we both got broken up with within forty-eight hours," Liam sighed as he shoveled another bite of ice cream into his mouth. "I know, it sucks," you replied. It was a Friday night but neither you or Liam felt like going out. You both had just been dumped within two days of each other and it seemed a little fishy, but you were glad that you had someone who knew what you were going through. You were both cuddled up on your couch in a cocoon of blankets and there was a gallon of ice cream between you two. "You know what she said when she broke up with me?" Liam asked you, looking at you, his chocolate eyes shining. "What did she say?" you asked before taking a bite of ice cream. "She told me to come to you, because I look at you the way Winnie the pooh looks at honey," Liam said as if he was explaining a time he and the boys got into trouble. "She did?" you asked in shock. Liam nodded, "And you know what I've realized? I finally came to terms with the fact that I like you I like you a lot (Y/N). I'm pretty sure that I like you so much that I would use the other word but I don't want to scare you away." "I really like you too Li," you admitted. "You do?" he asked. You nodded shyly. "Well will you be my girlfriend (Y/N)"" "I'd love to be Liam."
