Nontoxic, natural and pleasant to the touch, sand is an easy-to-use material that allows ephemeral artistic works, with precision and high contrast. In addition to excellent support for Land Art (Art in the Landscape) directly on the beach, here the artist also uses sand as "paint", making small drawings on alternative surfaces, constructed with frame frames discarded in the trash and pieces of reused canvas. Since there is no sand fixation on the support, the only way to register the image is through photos and videos. After its registration, the work vanishes without a trace and with high reuse for new designs. The Sand Art Therapy workshop was offered to the public of PsicodĂĄlia, between March 1 and 6, 2019.Â

In the 22nd edition of the PsicodĂĄlia Festival, Reci Clayton was invited to perform some ephemeral works in the landscape. The artist traveled to Fazenda Evaristo a week before the festival started and there he found quality raw materials to carry out his works: pine vines and cut grass. This video is a documentary record made by TombĂ´ Produçþes between 25 and 28 February 2019, which shows the work process of this artist immersed in the landscape. The first screenings of the video took place during the festival itself (between March 1 and 6), in the cinema space and also in alternative locations, where there was an intense flow of people. The experience of being present at the time of creating such great works does not translate completely into these images, but they still fulfill the important role of conserving memory and registering intangible heritage and contemporary ephemeral art.Â
