As you can see, this OC is heavily influenced and inspired by @carlycmarathecat’s OC Xasma, and just like Xasma, Astro is the fraternal twin brother of Cosmo from Sonic X!

Astro, being one of the children of the Seedrian queen Earthia, is a prince. But more than that, he wants to be a hero, adventuring across the universe, righting wrongs with his sword, spells, and his derring-do!

As for the Metarex Saga in my AU, Cosmo grows back from the seed she gives Tails in a matter of months, because that seed is something that all Seedrians can create as a last resort to avoid death.

Instead of repopulating the Seedrians like in canon, Cosmo’s other seeds are the “Rebirth Seeds” of all the other non-Metarex Seedrians, through which most choose to return to life and settle on Earth/Mobius while Green Gate re-terraforms and heals, including Cosmo and her family.

He gets so dependent and so utterly infatuated with Cosmo that it scares her. He literally grabs onto her arm or latches onto her in a bear hug, begging her to stay, whenever she has to be apart him for even just a little while, such as going out for a family meal with Team Dark (who coparent Cosmo alongside her bio-mom, Earthia, on Shadow’s request, so he could atone for trying to murder her that one time). Tails breaks Cosmo’s heart by saying he almost tried following her to the grave after her sacrifice, thinking she was truly dead and never going to come back, and Cosmo has to literally sit Tails down and tell him how frightened and worried she is for him, of him hurting himself, others, or, heaven forbid, Cosmo in one way or another to somehow try to please her.

This is a plot point in my headcanon Sonic AU. Tails and Cosmo still make their love work and are still just as in love with each other as they always were. However, Cosmo has recently been staying over the night back at Earthia’s place (in this AU all the non-Metarex Seedrians are alive and on Earth/Mobius [doing the “one world” thing that TailsTube showed]) or at Shadow and Rouge’s house, instead of staying at Tails’ house, as a form of exposure therapy and weaning-off for Tails’ separation anxiety and more troubling obsessions with her. Also Sonic signs Tails up for actual therapy sessions with a psychologist.

This is a Source Filmmaker/SFM depiction of Elise in my Paracosmic Megamix Sonic AU's post-Sonic '06 timeline. For those not in the know about how the end of Sonic '06 goes in my AU, the Flame of Hope that Elise blows out is actually a magical seal/cage containing Innerste (the heart and soul of Solaris that Elise is the vessel of in the Sonic '06 Story Surgery video). When the Flame is blown out, Innerste is freed and unites with Solaris, truly completing them. The now completed and, more importantly, benevolent Solaris decides to rewrite the timeline, as well as its own divine nature. This results in not only the Solaris Project not taking place, but it also makes Mephiles, Iblis, and Innerste a trinity of full-fledged divine aspects of Solaris, instead of their broken pieces.

This new trinity of Solaris then decides to incarnate in the mortal world... as Elise and two of my OCs who are her fraternal triplet siblings. Elise in the post-'06 timeline is the demigod incarnation/vessel of Innerste, the soul and light of Solaris. Her cold-demeanored, cunning, and calculating brother Marlowe is the incarnation of Mephiles, who is known in the new timeline as Noctis or Tenebris, and her hot-headed, hot-tempered sister Vesta is the incarnation of Iblis, who is known in the new timeline as Hestia or Pyrrha.

Anyways, Elise is the kind, caring princess she is in canon, in contrast to her sister’s anger issues and her brother’s sometimes snakeish and nasty attitude. And she's primarily a healer/support, tending to prefer healing and shielding others in battle with her divine magic, which includes fighting alongside both her siblings, and Sonic and friends.

If you saw my post about Shadow atoning for trying to hurt Cosmo during the Metarex Saga by acting as her foster co-father after she and the Seedrians came back in my AU, here's some SFM goodness I made about their father-daughter bonding.

In my headcanon continuity, this is essentially what Shadow goes through during the Metarex war. It only got worse when he had to almost kill Cosmo as part of her sacrifice, but thanks to his Chaos Regeneration, and the power of the Planet Eggs, Cosmo had more than enough power to make revival seeds for herself and all the other non-Metarex Seedrians, before sending them to Earth.

It was cold comfort for Shadow, however, as he still felt like he’d betrayed Maria… and stained his hands with her blood… with Cosmo’s blood…

This would keep Shadow up for many a restless night. The nights he did sleep were filled with nightmares of the monster he feared he’d become, or disturbing dreams of killing the little plant girl, only to see Maria dying before him instead. Other dreams had him be chastised by Commander Tower, à la Konrad with Walker the ending of Spec Ops: The Line.

Vanilla, Vector, Team Dark, Tails, Cosmo, Astro, Emerl, and Gemerl are pulling up to Eggman like:

That or Cosmo is trying to stop Astro (he has a crush on Cream) from “talking” to Eggman.

First off, the amulets Seedrians use are sources of energy for their more taxing powers, like stages of Mover Mode for Thorndrigans/male Seedrians. The tree forms are voluntary to go back and forth in like in @cosmicheartzone’s AU.

Second, the Mover Mode forms are unique to each Thorndrigan. Lucas’ form was the Godzilla T-Rex form, and Astro’s is more draconic. Usually, Astro only uses lesser stages of his Mover Mode during tough battles, granting him wings and making his horns more dragon-like. But when the battle gets big, like against some giant Eggman Mecha, Astro uses his artificial-Emerald-boosted amulet to turn into a giant dragon a la Alduin.
