I feel like people have forgotten about this

I haven’t seem him since August 2014 when I told him of my pregnancy… I forgave him for everything. I loved him through all the pain he caused my mother and brothers. I even defended him when he didn’t show at my graduation. Then when I needed him most he turned his back on me. Still, pregnant and naive I gave him the benefit of the doubt. With the little hope I had I expected to at least hear of him when my son came into the world. Heartbroken but with my chin up I shut down anyone and everyone who dared try and shun me for not taking my son to him. I have made many enemies during these couple of years; myself included. The one thing I won’t do is forgive him for what he did b.c nothing should ever come between a parent and their child. He chose to disown us and I vowed to always be by my son’s side no matter the cause. He chose his pride over me, even through everything I forgave him for. He taught me the true meaning of love and hate, something I didn’t think I’d ever have to experience. B.c how can you hate someone you love so much?
