Oh… I’m doing pretty well, actually… thank you for asking. I mean… I have had some… some rude people on here lately. But — I don’t really have any reason to worry about it. Work has been… a bit less stressful, and I’ve been enjoying spending more time with Brian :)

Not too familiar with thiS Brian fella, iS he niCe? If you don't wanna anSwer, that'S alSo fine, I don't mean to intrude .

I do remember talking to thiS one other blue dude, maybe that waS him. I don't remember if I caught hiS name. Ah, whatever, I'm sure he'S nice like you Said .

Marrow uses her sweater sleeves to hold the cup, blowing it a few times before taking a small sip.

*it disappears for a second before coming back with a leather journal and a bunch of boxes of tea.*

The journal haS a bunch of reCipeS explained in detail. Some were from otherS, some are mine. I labeled them So you know which one helpS what or what affectS they may have etCetera etCetera .

I only have a bunch have chamomile tea right now, So Sorry that it'S only one flavor. But some minor adjuStmentS can make it taSte very different and good if you think itS good .

Marrow holds her arms out and takes the journal and boxes.

Marrow sighs.

…I mean… I guess it can be. I uh… I’m used to working with the anomalies by now. They can be uhm… unnerving sometimes, but… I’ve been here long enough, you know…?

*it chuckles to itself at the thought. it gives you a toothy grin, even the teeth in its hair seem to form into something of a grin.*

Maybe try to do work with that Brian dude. That'S what Michael uSed to do to me whenever he waS given an aSSignment he really didn't wanna do or streSSed him out a lot.

Marrow shrugs, adjusting her grip on the stack of boxes.

Uh… well, when I’m working, Brian does check in on me a lot… it uh… makes my day a lot easier knowing he’s there…

She looks off to the side, smiling slightly.

*its eyes widen, interested.*

Like, just, poof, he'S there? Ohh that'S freaky weird, in a good way, of courSe! Like you're trying to do Something and then, boom! He'S on your screen! That'S Sooo weird! I didn't know anyone could do that! IS he like a viruS? Or a ghoSt? Or a weird mekhanite I haven't heard of?

*it has a huge grin on its face now and the eyes in its hair look straight at you.*

Man, the world haS changed So much Since I waS laSt out and about, it'S So cool what'S going on. I Should really Socialize more! ThiS iS aweSome!

*it turns to you as it reaches your door.*

Marrow turns as she steps into her doorway, setting the boxes down inside.

…Yeah, sure… it’s been nice talking to you. And uh, thank you for the tea and the recipe book… I’ll be sure to try some of these out…

*it sits the boxes down neatly before waving and leaving.*

Who are these Neo-Nälkä you're talking about? Enslaving babies to make more flesh is ridiculous! There is no need to do that? Did they not properly learn how to create more mass on their own ?

I am on a miSSion to find Nälkän communitieS in the AmericaS, but I do know of one other Nälkän .

“Hmm?” Isaac glanced up from a stack of messy reports strewn across the workbench, “The Nälkäns? Probably somewhere in Eurasia, Hungary or London somewhere.”

[A faint unintelligible murmur occurs off-camera.]

“The Coalition mostly,” he glanced up to the camera, while his pen continued to move.

Isaac’s gaze dropped down to the report. The line he had just wrote dipped beneath the previous sentence.

He stopped.

And stared at it for a moment.

“…Great.” he grumbled, scratched out that line and started again.

[A faint muffled paper, rustles off-mic, before an unintelligible murmur barely registers on the mic.]

Isaac sighs before placing the pen down, “Look the Nälkäns are a dispersed group of individuals-” He rubbed the bridge of his nose, “they’re aren’t exactly easy to track.”

He picked up his pen again.

“Most people don’t even know what they’re looking for.” he flicked a page, “The Coalition raids mostly hit the communes. The ones with money are more annoying to hit.”

Isaac continued to write.

A brief pause, “Heck I’ve even put a bullet into one of the heads of a Proto-Nälkän myself.”

Silence.

[The mic barely picks up a muffled indistinct voice: “You-[unintelligible] bullet? You collapsed-[unintelligible]-floor.”]

Isaac slowly looked up.

And stared at the figure behind the camera, completely deadpan.

*it looks at you completely confused.*

Well, anyway, do you have any informaTIon on any in the AmericaS ?

As you glance over to the paperwork strewn across the workbench, there appears to be reports regarding; lab inventory discrepancies, equipment maintenance logs, incidents forms and reagents requests. Several of these forms sit half-completed as if awaiting approval from personnel with higher clearance than Isaac.

None of these paperwork seem to be rather glamorous, it looks like the sort of routine and administrative work that keeps the alchemy equipment/experiments running long after the alchemists who designed them have left the laboratory.

Isaac’s shoulders physically recoiled as the eye drew closer. His hand shot up and pushed the eye away.

“Don’t” the words coming out sharper than he intended, he sighed before he rubbed the back and of his neck.

Ah, okay .

*it grimaced when it heard where your from but took a deep breath and smiled again.*
