Lmao yes I do. 

Well at least how I truly feel put into writing.

I remember the first time we met. I remember how you made me feel. And at some point you were my whole entire world. I couldn’t exist without you. I wasn’t whole.

But i write this. For Naledi. The girl who survived what she thought was her worst heartbreak. I can’t remember the last time I cried. The last time I wept.

I love you. You will always have a small piece of my heart that you carry with you wherever you go. I will be there. My annoying laugh. my gentle snoring. my loud rants and my presence will be within you.

Feels like I am writing to a dead person.

But I’m not.

Im writing to someone who slowly took the remaining breaths of his life in my heart.

I remember when my mother left my dad. I don’t remember much. but I remember her strength and her grace in raising me. I was a constant reminder of her marriage with my father. She raised a fighter. A lot of character traits come from my mother.

I want you to know that I will miss you. What we shared. Your eyes. Your voice. how you held me.

If I didn’t love you enough I’m so so sorry. But I know I gave you the best of me. The best in loving you.

The best part of me was you. And I’m sorry if I wasn’t.

Walking away from you tears me apart. But if i don’t walk away now ill probably die trying to love you with all of these broken pieces that I call my heart.

But remember. Im here. As a friend. confidant.

I should’ve told you that I came with so much baggage. Baggage I didn't know I had. You unveiled so many layers in me that I never knew I had. Forced me to face my biggest obstacle yet. Myself. 

I should've told you that I was young when I met you. 

I have no business missing you. 

But here I am, doing just that.
