Naelin Arts

Naelin was a merchant from the fallen kingdom in the island of Tháur that made a living from hunting and selling wares through different ports of the archipelago, and had his experience with both bows and beast’s diplomacy. After the High Rust, he and his little crew struggled to survive, but during one of the trips to an island on the south, Naelin went back to his ship carrying a hurt Tetsu cub that didn’t seem to intent on killing them. After the massive initial panic, the small crew agreed to take the cub back. He became a living legend among his people in no time, and feeling that the Tetsu’s cub was the ultimate display of power and protection, a settlement of people eager to live closer to the beast quickly formed, which turned to consider Naelin as a leader, and some time later, built a small kingdom with him as king. His rule is extremely characterized by his eagerness to form pacts with all kinds of species, including those usually overlooked by other peoples. As such, Tháur’s people make a harder distinction between pactual and crude beasts than other nations. He is a furry, and his phenotype is exotic.

Nile is a dramaturg and a bard, with a broad knowledge and talent for all sorts of interpretative arts, including theater, playing several instruments and singing. Nile possesses a staggering beauty, he was born albino, and takes great care of his looks: his tail and arm feathers usually fan out with long and curved points, and he uses small glasses over his beak, and delights in delicate clothes. He hangs with Danae at the Horror Circle, and lives close to him. He is a feathery, and his phenotype is Raven.

Nancy is the owner of the Horror Café, an inn close to Tháur’s port. She is a strong woman in her mid 40’s that serves food, drink and recreational drugs, and provides shelter and commodities to the merchants and travelers. She uses to dress in comfortable and practical clothing. Despite being short of patience for the common folk, she has a soft spot for philosophy and art, so her tavern holds a kind-of-secret club (The Horror Circle) that meet in a hidden room in the back. There hang a lot of the artsy folk and people that are usually critical of the foundations and basis of Tháur’s nation. Nancy is a furry, and her phenotype is Spotted Hyena.
