scott is gone. he decided to go. i have not allowed and probably cannot allow myself the energy to compile all my thoughts and feelings about his passing, but i just know i’m fucking heartbroken and i loved him, even though i didn’t know him in the traditional sense, and he obviously didn’t know me. i did meet him once... but i also feel like i knew him. i think every one of his fans feels that way because he spoke and sang about himself and his struggles and was a raw, hilarious, beautiful, and genuine human. i’ve cried every time a frightened rabbit song has played, whether i put my songs on shuffle or intentionally choose a FR album. i've been crying during FR songs over the past eight years i’ve been listening to them anyway, and now i cry for those same reasons as well as new and more insanely gut-wrenching ones. this fucking sucks and i can’t fucking believe i’m never going to see him again. i want to say so much more than this, but i don’t think anything will ever accurately convey what’s going on in my heart and head. i’m freaked the fuck out over my thoughts that “floating in the forth” is probably accurate in some ways regarding his actual death, but i obviously don’t know that for a fact and i don’t want to speculate, but i can’t help having thoughts like that right now. i used that song for a grad school project 2-3 years ago and i don’t know. i’m just freaked out about it. god fucking damnit, this SUCKS.
