minnie is a cute name

It's a little gacha story that I'm doing the official character art for. My sister plans on having people voice act some characters, regardless of their experience on the subject.

While she is explaining to me how the story's going, I am putting the story into words as her writer.

There are still a good bit of roles to take, and she's currently working on the first little episode.

Of course, no one is getting paid for this because she IS a child (or maybe I should call her a teenager since she insists on that, lol).

It's really just a fun activity for others and a way to bring old characters to life for her.

Additionally, I've made another blog to rewrite a Yandere Simulator story I worked on a LONG time ago here.

It's certainly not perfect (but what is for someone as picky as me) but it's still something I sincerely enjoy. Take a fanart of one of the characters.

The game isn't finished, but let me tell you what I think is the best aspect of this game- the protagonist.

Sure, it's great that you can change how the Mc looks and stuff, but her personality is actually something I admire.

You actually might find yourself rooting for the MC on her little journey as she works her way out of her social anxiety and possibly into a romantic relationship.

My original thought was that putting the characters' text in the color of their skin/fur(?) would help differentiate what they say so that no one would be confused.

But in the end, I think it was messed up with the background being so colorful. So, I tried adding contrasting boxes behind the text, but it just made it look messier, I think 🤔

But anyway, take this.

Anyway, here it is.

Fun Fact: If you pay less attention than my scatterbrain, then just know that Velvet wasn't supposed to have his shawl just yet.

I admit, I don't quite like how this one came out. The draft was pretty gross, so I redrew it again, and it came out looking a bit better, so I kept it.

He's meant to be a dependable bodyguard, but I realize that not only is his build pretty small-looking, but his eyes, face shape, and hair look pretty similar to that of Velvet's.

Which is a bit bothersome since he's supposed to be related to Sherry Question. Maybe a scale with all the characters will fix how tall he appears to be? Or maybe I'll also make changes to this fella as the story goes on.

He's Oracle's bodyguard and has been for a long time.

I know the males are looking awfully pretty right now, but rest assured I have at least... one of them planned out to not look as such.

The reason why I make them look so pretty is simply because I wanted a change in how male ponies were presented.

I feel as though he could've come out better, but I'm not sure at the moment what all I could've changed. Maybe once I start drawing him in panels I'll learn of all of my pet peeves regarding how he's designed. Hell, I might even decide to change things throughout the story and then make a before the comic and after the comic.

This is such an unbearably old character, but I was happy to redesign her in GL2 and then draw her. 😊

This is her new redesign. I gave her such a vivid change regarding her hair color because I needed her to look a bit unique from my other characters.

Back when gacha content was far better than it is now, my black characters all looked irritatingly similar, so it was fun to redesign the particular ones from this story.

Despite how difficult it is for me to draw men, I think I'll finish drawing every character in this story, both the males and the females.

Also, I finally figured out how to export the video of my process. 🎉

I think Fondy's family will make an intense impact on the story, what with them being essentially in charge of the town. Not even Fleur's family can tell them any different because this isn't their kingdom.

She's known for seeing the good in other people and being determined to redeem previously bad people. (Unbeknownst to others, I think she can also see the bad in seemingly good people.)

I imagine that, like with regular family bloodlines, there's a small chance that your kid will come out looking unique due to some small gene of your great great grandfather or something.

Similarly, this is the case for Sherry here, who was born a pony and with a cutie mark unrelated to her family's cutie marks, despite them all being pegasi.

I think she looks less flattering without the clouds and a tad bit messy, but she's also very cute, so I think I'll let it slide for now.
