yeah i’m doomed by the narrative but i have a little time to be absolutely gay

putting my inevitable death on pause to be homosexual for a second

i wish i had like really great friends who were spontaneous and loved me and we could go to museums on saturdays?? hikes on sundays??? study together at the library on mondays?? we could go see movies and critique them together. draw and paint on friday nights, help each other decorate our rooms, we could read books together then discuss like i just want some pure and positive friends…where y'all at

social media has really warped our perception of creativity and hobbies. Stop doing things to post them. Just write. Just journal. Just sketch. Just read. Just annotate. Just sing. Just crochet. Just do the thing you’re going to do with the assumption no one will ever see or know you did it. Stop performing. Just enjoy it.
