Mr Muddle’s story is definitely one of my favorite wholesome stories out of all Mr Men and Little Misses which surprises me.Â
Mr Muddle always had the right intentions, he loves to help others, but then proceeds to do an entirely different thing from what was asked which led to people getting frustrated and disappointed. Yet, he's still very confident doing what he does, most of the time usually unaware if he’s doing things wrong.Â
Even though his friend, George, hasn't figured him out yet, he still considers Mr Muddle as his friend. At first George tried to teach him the right way of doing things. But after spending time with him, George finally realized what makes him Mr Muddle and decides to go along with it instead of trying to change him as a person (love the fact he also told the others about it).
“But Mr Muddle’s story teaches kids that it’s okay to keep one doing things wrong!”
Perhaps the point of the story is that everyone's minds work differently. Some things are unchangeable and what matters is to always be patient, understand one another, and make them feel like they belong.
