The Nymphai (also called Nymphê) are minor nature Goddesses, and there are many different classifications of them.

Ôkeanides (also called Ôkeanis, Ôkeaninai or Ôkeanines) were the Goddesses of Fresh-Water such as springs, and most other fresh-water Goddess groups were often considered included in their numbers.

Naiades (also called Naias, Naides or Hydriades) were also Goddesses of fresh-water though more related to rivers and ponds.

Dryades (also called Dryas) were Goddesses of Forests, Groves and Wooded Glens and had further subdivisions within them:

Meliai- Goddesses of Ash-trees

Oreiades- Goddesses of Mountain Conifers

Hamadryades- Goddesses of Individual Trees

Maliades- Goddesses of Fruit Trees

Daphnaie- Goddesses of Laurel Trees

Aigeiroi- Goddesses of Black Poplar Trees

Ampeloi- Goddesses of Grape-Vines

Balanis- Goddesses of Holly Trees

Karyai- Goddesses of Hazel-Nut Trees

Kraneiai- Goddesses of Cherry Trees

Moreai- Goddesses of Mulberry Plants

Pteleai- Goddesses of Elm Trees

Sykei- Goddesses of Fig Trees

Oreiades- Goddesses of Mountain Forests

Alseides- Goddesses of Sacred Groves

Aulonides- Goddesses of Glens

Napaiai- Goddesses of Vales

Epimêlides (also called Epimêlis) were the Goddesses of Grassy Pastures

Leimonides- Goddesses of Water Flower Meadows

Nephelai (also called the Nephelê)- Goddesses of Clouds

Aurai (also called Aura)- The Goddesses of Cool Breezes

Asteriai- Goddesses of the Stars

Haliai ( also called Halia, Halias and Haliades) were Goddesses of the Sea. The Nêreides were counted among these. 

Lampades ( aslo called Lampas)- Underworld Goddesses associated with Hekatê

— What did you have for breakfast?

“Hm.” He clicks his tongue in thought a moment as he attempts to remember. “Cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, an egg, and a slice of walnut bread.”

— What can you cook perfectly?

“I do not often cook… I rarely have the time.” His ears flatten against his head a moment. “Though I can make a fair few dishes from memory.” 

— If you could choose a pet, what what would it be?

“I do not personally keep pets for companionship.”

— How is your relationship with your parents?

“I was… adopted, I believe the proper term would be?” The Captain shrugs, seemingly quite content to leave it at that, inquirer curiosity be damned. 

— What is your favorite read?

“Letters, always - from my beloved, or my dear friends. And poetry, of course. Ever and always poetry.”

— Do you put both socks on first, or one sock, one shoe?

“I must admit… I never gave the matter much thought.” He chuckles. “Both socks on first, if my memory serves me well.”

— Do you fold your clothes before bed?

“My servants to attend to such trivial things.”

— How do you feel about marriage?

“A very sweet notion, truly…” He hums a low note in the back of his throat, almost melancholic. “But marriage hardly suits a man like myself.”

— Who was the last person you crushed on?

“I already made mention of the letters my beloved sends me, did I not?” He smiles.

— What does your dream home look like? And where would it be?

“A ‘dream home’…? I am quite content with my lot. I live in comfort, am free to wander where I please, and keep in my company those I trust wholeheartedly. I want for nothing.”

— What’s your worst habit?

“I am… possessed of a bit of a temper, if riled.”

— What do you do for living and how do you feel about your job?

“I am a sky and seafarer.” He states simply. “And a merchant, of sorts. I deal in many commodities. I find my work quite fulfilling; I enjoy it.”
