I’d like to think that’s a good thing

But who knows, things change

After all, you did

Chasing someone

Who could care less

I know they won’t

But for some reason

I think they’ll change

My heart jumps with glee

A notification from you! I think

But it is not

And then I remember

As time goes on they fade

I take care of you the best I can

But as with all things

Your petals will fall

And you won’t stay

But will you still be there

When I land?

I hope so

Your forever

Was a lot shorter

Than mine was

Expecting a text

From someone

Who you know

Won’t text you at all

I’ll be alright

Just have to wait

They’ll come back eventually

You may think you’re ugly

But really, you’re quite wrong

For you’re a bright star in the night sky

That are the best

And the worst

For you get to think

But sometimes

It’s the thinking that hurts the most

At a time where you are happier

With harsh words and bad feelings
