When you consider how the republican party has become infested with so-called "Christians," it makes sense that they idolize (in the literal, not metaphorical sense of the word) and simultaneously completely ignore both the US Constitution and the Bible.

Found the deer laying behind my neighbors house. Here she is, checking me out. She lay calmly here for 20 minutes or so while I watched her, scratching her ear with her rear foot every once in a while. Her sister lay on the opposite bank of the stream bed.
My Roses are in bloom! The large blooms in front are "Cathedral Bells." They have very full, large blooms that smell AMAZING.
We had a storm (possibly a small tornado?) come through last weekend and take out two trees in my backyard, as well as several large branches in a number of other trees.
The large tree that snapped in half was approximately 12-14 inches in diameter. As near as I can tell, it was between 50-70 years old, I'd guess it was planted (or started growing) at or around the same time the house was built. The innermost rings are very close together and hard to count, so it's hard to say for sure.
I saw an Oriole the other day right outside my storage room. I stepped out, and he took flight from the same bush that the robins use to nest. I tried to get my phone out but he flew off out of sight in seconds. I've been keeping an eye out.

A pressure valve
Releasing pent up steam
Preventing the holding chamber from exploding
Yet, steam is scalding
Burning all those who are close to its escape
There is no safety in words
Thoughts and feelings are different. Both real, both physical processes that occur in the brain. Acknowledge both, but do not conflate them.
