We really need meds soon, has not been able to afford them in weeks, and we don't want another hospitalization
"My gallbladder and liver need constant medication to not get further fucked up, I have a bunch of untreated tumor/growths I hope my healthcare will deal with at some point, I have chronic pain which affects my hips, back and left leg and sometimes my leg dislocates at random, just this August I've had two periods in less than 28 days, this is a common occurrence almost every month, and I've been dealing with teeth pain so intense it causes headaches, hurts my jaw, neck and now I have pain inside my right ear I suspect it's related to my teeth pain."

So in case anyone actually missed my Caturday photo, etc last week and wondered, I thought I’d share the Armageddon(just kidding) that is my 93 year old mother’s 3 acres and house. From the tornados/straight line winds on June 11, 2026. Fortunately, nothing fell on the house but one window in her greenhouse was cracked. And this is just the first acre by the house. The middle acre is far worse than this. Luckily, she was at my house when all of this happened. Everything was fine at my house except no power for 3 days. She has insurance but I’m sure it’s gonna be a fight.
The weather birds – perhaps to instill a sense of optimism among those who consulted them – had proclaimed that it would definitely not rain on Friday. But of course they were entirely wrong…
The day dawned as best it could, smothered in dark, dense Scotch mist and persistent rain, but it offered an appearance so dreich that – as soon as they looked out of the window – even the most hardened Scot would be bound to start thumbing through brochures advertising travel in faraway lands bathed in glowing sunshine and warmth.
Algy, however, was a surprisingly fluffy bird… and so, undeterred, he collected his rainbow umbrella from its place of storage and propped it up carefully among the branches of the fallen fir tree which had been uprooted in the big October storm. Reclining on the broad trunk of the tree, he tucked himself well back beneath the sheltering rainbow and began to sing "Oh, what a beautiful morning, Oh, what a beautiful day!" at the top of his voice, although it was evident to all who might be listening that in fact it was nothing of the sort.
Unfortunately, however, he had failed to take account of the wind, which rarely stops blowing in the wild west Highlands of Scotland, and so Algy had barely finished the first chorus before he found himself reluctantly chasing his treasured umbrella across the garden in the drenching rain, instead of singing happily beneath it…
Making some cleanup progress
This 👇is the same trailer full of storm damage wood pieces that I posted a couple days ago.
I made a lot of progress cutting that stuff up. I was out there for a bit this morning too but I froze my ass. 🥶
It is still very cold here. The daffodils by the side of the house got all excited and shot up, only to be slapped in the face by the cold hand of winter. 😂
The daffodils haven’t done much in the last few days. I don’t think they like that below freezing stuff.
Neither do I, neither do I. 😐

Damage to remote Alaska villages hammered by flooding last weekend is so extreme that many of the more than 2,000 people displaced won’t be
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Damage to remote Alaska villages hammered by flooding last weekend is so extreme that many of the more than 2,000 people displaced won’t be able to return to their homes for at least 18 months, Gov. Mike Dunleavy said in a request to the White House for a major disaster declaration.
Typhoon Halong's storm surge ravaged western Alaska towns with floodwaters
A much storm-damaged tree, possibly a beech. Maybe this could have happened in the hurricane of 1987?
