This morning I stopped by Daisy's house and I got to meet her daughter, Pammy. I was surprised at the sight of her. After a while Daisy, Nick, Tom, Jordan, and I decide to go into town. Tom wanted to drive my yellow car, so I let him drive it with Nick and Jordan as passengers. and Daisy and I drove the Buchanan's car. I got the feeling Tom was skepticle of Daisy and I's relationship. We all arived at the plaza hotel and while we were there Tom and Daisy and I all get in an arguement, but i'm certain Daisy never loved Tom, she's only ever loved me! In the end, Daisy gets upset, so we leave and she insits on driving home, and I know its not a good idea when she's upset, but I let her anyways. We were driving through the valley of ashes and all of the sudden a woman ran out into the road and we tried to get out of the way, but Daisy hit her with the car and I knew the woman was dead immediatly. I sure hoped Daisy was alright. Then Daisy started to drive faster and faster and i had to take over the car. So I took over the wheel, and drove to her house while she cried in my lap. I really do hope she is alright, i know she didn't mean to hit that woman. I decided that I will take the blame for the accident, i would do anything for daisy.

Daisy, my green light, so close yet so far

it seems that I have not been entirely honest with you, Old Sport. Let me tell you of my past. My real name is James Gatz, not Jay Gatsby. I was born to a poor family in North Dakota, who is stll alive to the day. One day, I met a man named Dan Cody. Dan Cody was a Mentor to me, and he taught me the ways of the wealthy. Unfourtunatly, he is dead now. After that I joined the Military and fought in the World War and rose to the ramk of major. After the war, I breifly attended Oxford. Then, I recieved a letter from Daisy, saying she was marrying a wealthy man called Tom Buchanan. I set off to become a wealthy man worthy of Daisy's love. I made all of the money I have now by bootlegging for three years. this is how I have arrived to where I am today, Old Sport. Now, you know the truth.

Nick has accepted to go along with my plan! Anyway, what's going to happen is that Nick is going to invite Daisy over to tea at his place, and i'm just gonna show up and we will be together again just like old times. A rather simple plan, but it must go absoluely perfectly. Nick and I have become friends by now and I was right when I said he was a good man. I went over to his house to inspect the place and only a few things needed to be in order before Daisy came, Old Sport. I sent someone there to cut his grass and bring flowers just to make the place look a bit more welcoming. Soon Daisy will be here and we will finally get to meet again! THE NEXT DAY The meeting was wonderful, Old Sport! except it was a bit awkward at first, but what do you excpect, we haven't talked to each other in five years next november! Also, I knocked over one of Nick's clocks and mat have broken it, hopefully he isn't to upset about his clock, it was my fault, Old Sport. After a while though, Daisy and I started talking again and everything was like it was, and I brought Daisy to my house to show her around, and we took Nick along with us. She seemed to be a bit overwelmed about everything, and she started crying when I was throwing my shirts! Daisy and I talked and talked, and it seems that somewhere throughout the evening Nick left Daisy and I. It is so nice to have Daisy back in my arms.

I had a party recently and the most wonderful thing happened, Old Sport. First of all, I finnally met my neighbor, Nick Carraway, and he seemed like a nice man. I started up a conversation with him, and he didn't even realize I was Jay Gatzby until half-way through the converstaion. Ha! You could imagine how shocked I was, Old Sport. I thought everybody knew who I was by now. Then, I came across a lady named Jordan Baker and she knows who Daisy is! In fact, they are even friends! She even told me that my neighbor, Mr. Carraway, is cousins with Daisy! When I came to know this information, I brought her to my study and told her my plan to become aquainted with Daisy again. This plan, of course, includes Nick. I however do not know how to bring up the idea to him yet, so I'm leaving that to Ms. Baker. Hopefully, he accepts my offer. I really hope he does, I see a good man in him.
