im actually not really satisfied with the second half (4-5th drawings) because it's a difficult angle for the face and something just feels off. but i decided not to dwell into it too much because if i did that i wouldn't be getting this done lmao.

i may be too into custas & dagda angst but I DON'T SEE YOU GUYS COMPLAINING so i'll keep at it

this thing has been plaguing my mind since the day i saw it because OUUUUU

who is going to sing custas to sleep now... WHO??? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING DAGDA???

anyways SO i had to draw something about it 😌

my favorite part is i think the details i added to dagda's hand, i already love drawing hands and it was just really fun to think of and add the kinds of callouses and scars and wounds he would've gotten from playing the roundlute and wielding a sword. i gave him callouses at the tips of his fingers (from roundlute) and some parts of his palm and lower parts of fingers (from sword) and also some little cuts here and there. stuff to show the kind of life he's had to survive. yet i wanted those rough calloused hands to do something gentle and brush his son's hair out of his face because... yeah. yeah.

if i think too much about them or see a single page from THOSE chapters i'll start sobbing. again.

oh and, tartah is there too lol of course he is can you imagine me not adding him to something about post-silver eve custas? of course not.

also i wonder what color are custas' eyes now, now that they've gone pale. i am guessing pale greyish blue like qifrey or at least how i imagine qifrey's? and i also wonder if the silverwood also affects the skin eventually because olly describes qifrey as "like snow", which made me think "ah, his skin is pale too".

Somewhat spoilers: It's been a while since I played but I loved how Sol and Dys both have the potential to become something "beyond" in their own way depending on the route.
