Me, internally: Whenever John puts a new magazine into the Kimber 1911 he does a press check to make sure it didn’t jam, because Kimbers are notorious for jamming on the first bullet of a magazine. He doesn’t do that with any of the other guns. Also, he flicks out the old magazine to make sure it’s not stuck – something that never happens in movies but often in reality. This is some brilliant film making an love to detail.

-1965-Battle of Bong Son. Ambushed by an estimated 4,000 enemy while with his civil defense group. Receives severe wounds to head and legs to the extent he was thought dead by the enemy. Returns to Vietnam by the end of 1966 Earned a Silver Star and 6th Purple Heart for actions 

-Participates in first ever combat HALO jump

-Becomes CIA contractor in 1977. Does secret stuff. Tracks down Carlos the Jackal and Osama bin Laden.

Holy shit, this is cool!

So many cultures call the Pleiades some variation of the "seven sisters" despite only having six visible stars. There only appear to be six because two of the stars are so close together as to appear as one.

The myths also mention one sister leaving or hiding to explain why there's only six. And based off observations and measurements, those two that are so close together used to be visibly separate. One literally has moved to hide.
