Okay I wanted to say this because it’s been on my mind for a bit…
Someone’s sharing status with their f/os does not determine how serious they are about them.
I feel like there’s this assumption in the Selfship community that sharing = less serious and nonsharing = more serious, and that’s just… not entirely true. I’ve seen people who share and are incredibly dedicated and emotionally invested in their f/os, and I’ve also seen people who are nonsharing but treat selfshipping more casually, like a hobby rather than something deeper like fictosexuality and etc.
Everyone approaches their sharing status and what it means differently, and that doesn’t make one way “better” or more valid than another. Also some Selfshippers share as a way to cope with doubles too, so keep that in mind as well!
At the end of the day, sharing vs nonsharing is just a boundary preference, not a measure of love, commitment, or how “real” someone’s feelings are. Thank you! That’s all! 🫶🏻💞

there's a lot you can do with them, you can write them for yourself, you can use them to practice writing for your f/o. or you can use them for aus! like maybe a modern au or one where you and your f/o are rivals? or you can use them as reminders over how much your f/o loves you! its completely up to you. there's a lot you can do and the best part? its completely free! so you can use it as much as your heart desires!
