Summary: cat goes to comfort keyleth after the meeting with its raishan
Raishan had left, leaving the group in disarray. They had freed the real keeper Yennan, and now they were regrouping after her proposal. Keyleth seemed particularly shaken up out of all of them. Cat watched her friend nervously.
“The question remains, do we chase down this armor?” Percy said, “conspire with Raishan?”.
At that keyleth pipped up “No way.she killed sovereign Uriel. It's a deal with a devil!”
“But how badass would it be if we rolled riding a fucking dragon?” Pike said and waved her arms about in emphasis “ knock knock Thordak! Acid!”
“Uh she shoots poison” Scanlan corrected.
“Oh right. knock knock Thordak! POISON”
“If she helps defeat the conclave, that’s well worth it” Percy noted.
“I don’t like this, either, but Raishan could have just attacked us” Vex started, “ she wanted to talk. Maybe we should listen”.
Keyleth furrowed her brows “To a mass murderer?”
“Sometimes a stiff moral code must be bent for the greater good” Percy insisted.
“Moral code? It's more than that! What if she's just trying to trick us?!” Cat said she took a step towards Percy,“I agree with Keyleth, this isn't a good idea. It seems way too risky”.
“We have to defeat Thordak, I say it's worth the risk”, Percy doubled down, looking down at Cat sternly.
“NO!” Keyleth shouted, interrupting Percy and Cat, “I’m not going to dishonor the ashari!”.
With that Keyleth went to the window, turned into a bird, then flew away into the night.
Cat ran over and leaned over the ledge, “KEYLETH!”.
she bowed her head ,there was no way keyleth could hear here.
Cat sighed, “I’ll go get her”.

Keyleth sat in the branches of the branches of the sun tree, knees pulled to her chest. She couldn't believe they were actually willing to work with Raishan after what she did. Keyleth heard a crunch from down below.
“Who’s ever there, you don’t want to fuck with me tonight” keyleth shouted downwards.
When she looked down she saw only Cat (poorly) trying to climb up the side of the sun tree. Cat immediately stopped, embarrassed.
She raised her hands clearly caught, “it's just me!...Can we talk?”, Cat shouted up, "...preferably with some assistance"

Cat now sat with Keyleth, as she leaned into the half-elf.
“The idea of working with that monster. After what she did to my people” Keyleth shook her head.
“And the rest of the team… it always feels like my opinions don't count”.
Cat sighed, “ I know what you mean. I feel the same way sometimes… It's like each one thinks their opinion is correct and is trying to change their minds… is so hard. You try and say what you think but it just goes one ear and out the other!”
Keyleth leaned her head on Cat’s.
“Yeah…it’s infuriating,” Keyleth mumbled.
“I mean I know they care but…” Cat’s voice trailed off, “But for what it’s worth….you have me in your corner”
Keyleth turned and stared down at Cat.
“I’ll always have your back. I promise,” Cat insisted.
Then Keyleth grabbed Cat, taking the women into a sudden embrace.
“Thank you” keyleth said as her grip tightened, “this means more than you know”.
They sat like that for a while ,just taking in the night air, before Keyleth finally pulled away.
“I can talk to them in the morning, you should head back”, Cat patted her friend’s shoulder “get some sleep”.
“I will,” keyleth got up before she added , “Good night, Cat”.

For anyone wondering why Danarius' eyes and eyebrows look different, yes, I'm using a mod for NPCs. The mod I use is called Custom NPCs, but I don't know how far it has been updated. I'm stuck playing on 1.12.2 because I don't want to lose all the cool mods that never got updated either lol
