"We do have a TV. Most often I watch the news, boxing, football, etc. In second place for me are various talk shows..." He's mentioned being a fan of talk shows before in the letters to Daphne. Seems he's still into them!

"During the day, viewing time is set from 17:00 to 24:30 on weekdays and from 11:00 to 21:30 on weekends." Makes sense why he seems to talk about movies and shows so much, there isn't much else to do in there. The TV is the best you got.

"As for my book, its creation is in progress." It's literally been 12 years.

"In my free time I write letters, study foreign languages, listen to the radio, watch TV..." I wonder how many foreign languages he knows now? He was studying German, French, and if I can recall, English.

Dylan would pick up extra shifts so Eric could stay home with his sick dog

Dylan most likely experienced maladaptive daydreaming according to his journal and spent most of his time in his own head

Dylan seemed to have some sort of avoidant personality disorder and even though often writing about love he could not seem to attach himself to one girl and talked about many and changed his mind many times.
