It’s literally the same as any other thing on this planet. For some people it works, for some people it even works wonders, and for others it won’t help at all and might even make things worse. Idk why people have such a hard time acknowledging that. Something doesn’t have to be a magical fix it all to be accepted by society. We all use plenty of medication that can have adverse side effects, but we know that for MOST people it won’t have those effects, yet no one acts as though the side effects aren’t real.

I have a good friend for whom weed produced major hallucinations (I found out from someone later that this is due to a Lithium Deficiency most likely), like to the point where when an edible kicked in in the middle of class she ran out of the screaming because she thought she was on fire. When I pointed this out to some stoners they insisted that it had to be cut with something, but she was nowhere near the only person in the school to have eaten from that batch that day, and trust me, we would have heard about it if multiple students had started tripping at the same time.
