Well well well~ look at us, look how far we have come. We traveled through the abyss between the heavens and earth, through the pain of separation we pirouetted. Our journey has refined us, but... Into what? Can you brave yourself and take this challenge to find out—

I saw a painting with perfect strokes, the stroke had beauty in its precision. Then I saw a painting with beautiful splashes, the splash was perfect in its fascination. Now I wonder, is beauty imperfect or the perfection lack charm. Or are they just two sides of coin? In our exploration there is no harm.

So now write the letter O my precious gem~ maybe you are flawlessly refine or it is your aesthetic that shines.Both the prose and poems are fine.

I’ve heard a lot about you. In fact, I’ve heard you a lot. You fill the throats of birds and the hearts of humans. Even the crickets have their own melody with you as their muse. For centuries, something has been pulling us together. Have you felt it too? It’s like we’re meant to be unified in our work. When I hear songs, I see people begin to use my teachings to move along to the beat. A dance cannot exist without rhythm. Without that, it would only be flailing around. It’s the music which makes it beautiful, even when your melody isn’t audible. It’s like there’s an internal music that the dancers use. 

Still, don’t assume you’re better than I am. You rarely exist without me. How often have you performed, only to see the twitch of humans’ and animals’ bodies? They longed to dance as soon as they heard the sounds. A song without the spirit of dance is hollow, lacking something so essential that you didn’t even realize you’d miss it. You just assumed it would be there. You can’t escape me just as I can’t escape you. Maybe that’s why I’ve stopped trying to. It’s futile. And so, we meet like this. Out in the open, no song or dance to be sensed. Just us at our most basic. I hear people approaching. It feels wrong to neglect my duties. The only question then becomes, will we work together officially from now on?

As you drift around, your sweet cadence varying in concert with those around you, you inspire movement. Your friends, the percussions, the brass, the woodwinds; you are all woven together like a fine textile. Who created such a thing? How did they imagine how to mix the parts?

And the language! The mechanism for your intent! Sometimes, I no longer hear the words, they blend into another -octave to octave.

Regardless, I must now move. A swirl, a slow shift of feet, a bend of the waist, an extension of the arm. This is what I am. What do you see when you look at me? Does my dance work with your pattern?

The Dance

A melodious song, flowing elegantly around meets the graceful dance. What will you be ? Will you be the symphony or the waltz ? Write a letter from either the song or the dance personified, to the other.

(I did ballet for roughly eight years of my life and I still miss it, I fear this prompt was made for me. Was in the mood for free verse, so that's what I did.)

The lights dim,

faces obscure.

Here I stand,

arms reaching,

feet arching.

Up,

up.

This is a path we've

strolled so many times,

together.

I know your melody by

heart,

every note and

rest.

Once, long ago,

I counted out loud to your

harmony.

Now it is burned into my

soul.

You are the best partner a

dancer could ask for.

Never faltering,

certain, strong,

gentle, lovely.

Every Arabesque and Sauter,

guided by your rhythm.

My slippers are bent to

perfectly shape for your

composition,

months of pointe waiting for this

moment.

So let us dazzle them,

let them be in awe.

We deserve it,

we created this magic,

let them bask in our spell.

the Dance of your cadence.

To the dance, Am I ready? I wonder that too. Lights growing dim, my focus is only on you. You took a step on the path we always stroll, Made me confident, reminding me we are two. It is indeed flattering to know That you buried me in your soul; I wish to grow From there and become a blossom in your heart, So I remain the best partner for you in our show. Sometimes I think about What you think I am when my praises you shout, I just flow but the magnificent one is your sway, Pleasure is all mine to witness your grace no doubt. Let us do it, let us surprise, Let us dazzle them, from our cores let the magic rise. Let us make most of this encounter to cast spell that You and I create; ready to shine, for all, for your eyes. None other then, The song of your pirouette.

Do you enjoy reading something so personal yet so universal? I had this type of couple in my mind for a long time who created the song of love, added verses of tragedy in it and ended it with the couplet of hope. It can be your personal story or the well known tale of eclipse, the tale of sun and moon.

You can say the fable woven by me is of a blind singer and a deaf dancer. The singer sings his own symphony and the dancer sway in his own rhythm. But they are trying.....

Dear folks, you have been doing very well up until now, have you not ? It is a pleasure to be working with you all. Creating the memories and the crafting the letters which are slumbering in this library of mine, waiting to be awakened by the lost reader who found the way here. This sure calls for a celebration, no ? And what celebration is complete without the music ? So for today's prompt we are gonna write a letter on–

A melodious song, flowing elegantly around meets the graceful dance. The timeless beauty created upon this mystical encounter by a chance. Together they pirouette on the rhyme, the moment only for them to shine.

The tear after reading a letter, began to write the reply, reading it out loud | Tear: “ Beloved eye, I do not know where I am or what my destination is… Maybe this was the time for separation, maybe this is what fate holds for us… But I miss you… Yeah, I miss you too. I wish I could, I wish it myself too. Is there any way ? I don't the way I come from, Neither the way back. The final goodbye ? Now that is hurting… But it is true. Maybe. If you by any chance got this letter then know that you are my sweetest memory, the bitter present. I will miss you forever and ever too. We've been friends for a long time now. Whenever you're so happy that you can hardly believe it, I'm here; and whenever you feel like your world is about to end, I'm here. That's why it hurts to say goodbye now. You invite me over to discuss what's going on in your life, but that's it. We talk until we're tired rather than until the matter is resolved. All these years and you've never cried, just become teary-eyed. I feel like I'm doing you a disservice—like I'm enabling you somehow.

Crying can be such a good emotional release, but I've never given you the chance. To be honest, it's because I value your friendship and haven't wanted to leave. Yet, it's because of our friendship that I have to go. You'll be better once I'm gone. I believe in you. Who knows? Maybe there's more for me out there too. We might not see each other again, but I'll never forget you. You'll always be my best friend.

A tear departs from the eyes, slipped and never encountered the eye again. A tragic separation, the plan of fate. I'll leave it to you, be the eye waiting and wishing, or be the tear drop on his journey and hoping. Write me a letter as either one of them.

We have made it to the third week, haven't we ? How nice it was to be the abyss or the child, it was easy to be the sea or the sky. Why don't we step up our game ? So today's prompt is–

A hitched breath, a loud cry, the voice is lost in the void. A tear departs from the eyes, slipped and never encountered the eye again. A tragic separation, the plan of fate.

I'll leave it to you, be the eye waiting and wishing, or be the tear drop on his journey and hoping. Write me a letter as either one of them.
