On Hiatus

I’ve been thinking about doing commissions for a while and here they are! In addition to this, that also means I’ve opened a ko-fi where you can leave a tip if you like my writing!

As always, my rules and fandoms apply, although there is one change I’m doing for this. I will allow commissions for fandoms I don’t write for, provided I get enough time to do extra research to write it properly! (It would also be nice if you tipped for the extra work but that’s not required)

Aerith could see through you. Not only was your silence very telling, but just by looking at you she could tell there was something wrong.

“Okay, out with it” She told you in that cheerful and warm tone of hers. “What is it?”

“What?” You absently mumbled, having been lost in your thoguhts until she piped up.

“Something’s obviously bothering you” Aerith took your hand in hers and showed you a friendly smile. “So talk to me!”

“I just…” You took a deep breath, equal times flustered and endeared by her attentive stare. “Why are you even my friend?”

“What do you mean why, silly?” She giggled, lovingly squeezing your hand. “Because I like you!”

“But why?” You averted your gaze now, feeling undeserving of her love. “I’m so… worthless”

“Don’t say that!” Aerith exclaimed, in a surprisingly harsh voice. Despite it all, her tone still held part of her usual warmth and affection. “You’re great, Y/N!”

“No, I’m not…” You insisted, feeling tears welling up in your eyes. “I’m not good enough to be your friend”

“Hey, you listen to me” She didn’t give up, gently tugging at you until you timidly looked up at her. “You’re more than good enough to be my friend, you know how much I like interesting people, why would I be around you if you weren’t?”

“I guess…” You shrugged a little, finding it very hard to ignore all your insecurities.

“You’re very important to me, Y/N, and I enjoy having you around!” This time, she energetically tugged at your hand, causing you to smile in spite of yourself. “So don’t say those things about yourself, please!”

“Okay…” You mumbled, daring to quickly glance at her again. “Sorry”

“That’s better” Aerith returned to her lively smile. “Now let’s get you something yummy to eat, it’ll help!”

Imagine: Going to a haunted house with Prompto

The haunted house was dark, silent and eerie. Your footsteps loudly resonated everywhere in the quietness of that room. Noctis, Gladio and Ignis had insisted on letting you and Prompto go first, it had to be very amusing to let the scaredy cats lead the way.

Now, Prompto wasn’t a coward, but he did get startled easily. Despite it all, he had promised himself to stay calm when he noticed you were much worse than him. First of all, because he wanted to stay strong in order to comfort you. Secondly, because he didn’t want to embarrass himself in front of you. He kept telling himself that, what kind of bad impression would he give if he was so scared in front of his crush?

“Okay…” You were saying as you very slowly advanced through the haunted house, ignoring Gladio’s hands impatiently pushing you forward. “Okay, this is fine”

“Don’t worry, Y/N” Prompto forced himself to say, even if his whole body had tensed up in anticipation. “There’s nothing to fear, we’re ok-aaaaah!”

Just then, a person dressed as a monster jumped out from the shadows and yelled at you. On cue, the lights began flickering and the artificial sound of thunder echoed around you. Your reactions caused your friends to laugh behind you.

Prompto yelped and jumped in place, but you screamed at the top of your lungs and hid your face on his arm, shrinking closer to him. You tugged at him as you sped up, dragging him forward with you so harshly that he felt like you were going to rip his arm off. The others’ guffaws only troubled you further.

“I-It’s okay” Prompto insisted, even if his voice was now high-pitched. “That was just a normal person dressed up as a monster. It’s okay!”

You didn’t reply, wondering if he was talking to you or to himself. Although he was clearly spooked himself, you appreciated the fact that he was trying very hard to be there to comfort you. It gave you strength to face the rest of the attraction when, as you clung onto him and continued walking, you thought that it least this gave you an excuse to stay very close to Prompto.
