So like there’s this character in FFXIV Shadowbringers that was introduced as Emet-Selch:

Who Cyran reminded me of so much, which got me to love him even more so.

But now after CoA we see Cyran in this form:

I definitely spend more time on this one than my Athalia skin, made the mistake of rendering everything 😣

But I really wanted to give Bonnie a more… modest outfit lol. And tried to play around with making her look more ghostly. A corpse bride feel but not a obvious wedding outfit (I hope)

I honestly hope they do another skin contest again, designing is so much fun. 100% will do Cyran and Alna next. 😌

So I’m making another banner again for this season’s global contest for AFKJ! Thought I’d share the process by continuously reblogging this with updates 🙃

Horrible sketch below fair warning —

I’ve gone past the icky phase… which is just sketching out the idea — drawing Gervan twice cuz I liked the fight scene with Silven and Gervan but also the comparison he has to Cyran… it just fits.

Fleshing out the characters rn, almost done with the first section 😌

Also here’s day 2 — I locked in today so I’m almost done with the full sketch :P

Still need to fix some proportions and poses, but really liking it so far, I need to color it already lol

Also kinda a small HC of mine for how Merlin might look after the amnesia, I just think this hairstyle feels like a messy version of Merlin’s hair lol. Like they just got out of bed, it’s my fav hairstyle.

If only it was more platinum blonde, I think that’d look really cool (Imma color it that way, tehe)

Kinda procrastinated most of yesterday but got the sketch done and got some flat colors on!

Pretty muddy, thinking of trying gradient maps for the first time ever to make this more cohesive

I’m not sure how I feel about the colors so far, I feel like it’s missing something… I’ll probably tweak it after rendering.

I’ve been heavy procrastinating, I have rendered other characters out half way just so I didn’t get bored being on the same character for so long.

Contess is probably my fav lol, and Zorya—god I love her kit in game 😫 nervous about contess tho… I just spent all my resources on Saida cuz… afk stages be giving me a headache

I’m gonna make this the longest reblog possible I swear lol
