As the youngest sibling of a nobel family, there wasn't much expected of you and the weight you carried on your shoulders was not as much of a burden as it was for the others. Rather, the thing that really bothered you was how invisible you were to potentail suitors.
Nobody ever dreamed of courting you because they wouldn't inherit anything through your bond. Everything there was to have had already been promised to those who had married the more meaningful siblings. An ache in your chest that never quite went away, but were you supposed to do about it?
That was until he came. You'd never seen him around before, so you knew he had to be new at the royal court, but no matter where you went, you always felt his eyes on you, glued stuck to each and every little movement of yours. It intimidated you, yes, but it was also very much intriguing.
Who was this man and why was he interested in you? More specifically, where had he come from that he knew you enough to be so obsessed with you that the lack of a courting gift didn't even bother him? This man didn't even have a profile of sorts...
When you asked about it, your father merely told you he was a new addition to the knightly force. As if you couldn't have guessed that yourself. Either way, as suspicious as you were of him, you couldn't deny it felt good to be pursued for once.
Little did you know, he was exactly what you thought he was. Even though you probably could not remember his face, he'd been a mere country boy with no name for himself. Your carriage had passed through a small village on your way to a neighboring kingdom, and he'd been working in the stables.
Most people looked down on mere commoners and saw them as nothing more than peasants, but not you. You'd been nice to him. The moment you'd smiled kindly as he tended to the royal horses, he knew he was smitten with you. He had to have you, and he knew you felt the same way. The next years apart from you he'd trained to become a companion worthy of you. Worth enough to actually work at the royal court. To get close enough to the king to make him suffer for making you suffer. But not yet. He didn't have your hand in marriage yet.
He'd waited so long, he could wait a little while longer. Patience. The perfect way to propose to you was close. After all, what would be better than holding your father's crown in your hands as he chopped off his head, slaughtering all your siblings and the others who wronged you so? ♥︎
The only one who deserved to be this kingdom's ruler was you, and with him by your side, nobody would ever question your authority or cast you aside again.
You had this crush on a person for the longest time, always contemplating whether to ask them out or not.

Yet to you, everything remained the same. They were just being nice to you in a way that friends were. Surely there were no other intentions behind all these grand gestures, no?
To the whole school, this entire thing was so silly. Everyone else knew you two were practically dating and just hadn't made things official yet. The only person who didn't see that... was you. And it was starting to frustrate your dear crush and admirer.

You were just rummaging through your storage closet when the silyl little crafts project dropped conveniently before your feet. Overtaken by nostalgia concerning better days, you decided to plug them in to see if they still worked.
And they did, though a little bit rough around the edges. The light in their eyes flashed on and they stiffly nodded their head at you. "Long time no see, master," they greeted your familiar features. "I had thought you'd forgotten about me."
It was quite handy that you remembered them also from your side. Now you finally had someone to help you with chores and watch over the house while you were away, and someone who loved doing both. They were so small and handy that you could easily scoop them up into both your hands to clean them or fix some of their old programming.
And they enjoyed every second of it. Getting pampered and nuzzled by you as though they were the most adorable little thing you'd ever seen. They considered you a friend, the only one they had. After all, you were the only person they knew. You didn't even treat them like some tool. You taught them all things wonderful and comfortable.
Sometimes they would slip into the pocket of your jacket or hide between your books just to get a peek at the world out there. After all, they had to make sure you were safe! And if anyone dared to even touch you that they hadn't previously approved of, they'd rip them apart in the most gruesome way and feast on their organs ♥︎
They shocked them. A little zapper you had installed on them in case they'd need to defend themselves from someone to steal them or whatever.
They were such a great protector! And besides, as long as you were happy, wasn't that really all that mattered? After all, you, too, had a little friend obsessed with and clinging to you at all times ♥︎

Does a Yandere competition reality show host interest you?
Generally yes, it sounds very interesting! I just don't know if I understood the prompt correctly, so lemme know if I should change anything, anon. Also, I gendered this because at least where I'm from most of these shows involve women, hope that's okay.

You told yourself you'd never get involved with selling your dignity for money. But when you dropped out of college and had a massive amount of bills to pay, you saw this - admittedly rather shady - ad of a reality competition show promising the winner 25k.
As you were confident in your own looks and abilities, you recorded the audition video and were surprised to receive an answer within twenty four hours. Perhaps that should have made you suspicious, but desperate as you were, you immediately signed the contract and were told where and when to appear for filming.
Should have maybe read what you were signing.
Arriving on set, you found the competition to be 14 other women with equally stunning looks. You were supposed to be fighting to win the heart of the show host, which seemed to be the very same man who approved your video. Shouldn't be too difficult, you were rather shameless anyway. Anything for the money.
What you didn't know, however, was that said host had planned this entire show specifically for you. You'd gone to high school together and he was obsessed with you. Even so, he hadn't had the courage to actually ask you out, instead merely following you around and learning everything about you.
Which was how you ended up here, merciful at his fingertips. Though fragile as the illusion was, he'd made sure to craft a system so very you that it was almost impossible for you to even lose a task at all. And even if you did, manipulating the footage afterwards and making sure the other candidates kept their mouths shut through various ways was no big deal for him ♥︎
He'd made sure to pick out only those people where no one would even bother to come looking for them anyway.
So, unsurprisingly, you came out on top. Of course the twenty five thousand dollars you were promised were handed to you almost on a silver platter, along with the host's heart. Yet the moment you reached for them, his eyes turned cold.
"Not unless you become mine."
You nearly choked on your spit, that last and desperate hope you needed so close, yet so far out of reach. "Excuse me?" You managed to stammer.
Sure, part of this whole ordeal was that you'd win the host for yourself, but nowhere did it ever end in a way where you yourself had to reciprocate that! Right? At least not the shows you had watched as a kid...
"Part of the terms and conditions, love," he cooed to you in that sickeningly sweet voice. "Do you not read the contracts you actually sign?"
You froze. You did not. Of course you did not. Who even actually bothered to go through dozens of papers? As that realization dawned in on you, you felt trapped and nearly suffocated. Was the money and paying off all your debts really worth it?
For just a moment you hesitated before the host wiggled the money in front of your face provocatively. You'd won, but at which cost? For some male to dominate over you, watching over your every step.
Still, you took the money from him with trembling hands and you'd never hated yourself more than in that singular damning moment sealing your fate. The host only smirked and tilted up your head.
"Good girl. Seems you've been taught manners after all." His expression was mocking when he added, "Now get on your knees." And being the desperate little fool you were, you complied. "Kiss me," followed right after that, and again, you complied.
The host patted your head as though you were an animal, and you fought tears of humiliation. It got the sick bastard off for sure. "Be not afraid," he taunted, "I will take good care of you, my darling."
So I ask you: Was it really worth it to throw away even the last of your freedom and dignity just to have some bills paid?
Not sure if you know anything about MLP but if you do, imagine a yandere shapeshifter replacing our husband/or Wife like how Chrysalis replaces Cadance, you could have it where instead they loved reader unlike the changeling queen who never loved Shining Armor or have them start to love reader eventually :)
LOVE this idea, anon! Yes, MLP was my whole ass childhood, so I do know what you're talking about. But either way, I know what changelings are, so you're fine! Also I kinda made this SCP-ish, because I imagine if changelings were real, they'd definitely be locked up somewhere.

Yandere!Changeling replacing your partner
At first it had all been a game to them. They needed to hide from the security prison they'd escaped from, and what better way to do that than to replace an unsuspecting victim? :)
It was fairly easy to get rid of your partner. They did not put up much of a struggle at all when they killed them and dragged their body into the forest to rot. As non-human as they were, they had learned quite a bit about humans and how to adapt to their society.
So when they found your partner's phone and ID, tracking down their place of living was not a challenge. Fidgeting with the keys, they nearly broke the lock as their clumsy fingers did not know how to handle such a foreign concept, but breaking a door was something familiar to them. They'd done it to escape the facility (much like how they got used to killing humans to achieve their ways).
What they had not expected was having to deal with you. Poor, silly, naive you, who'd looked at them with a warmth and longing unfamiliar to them this far. You'd greeted them home, gave them a warm meal and blabbered on and on about how your day had been and just how much you'd missed them. How charming.
The concept of marriage and love was not widespread among their kind, so figuring out they'd literally have to maintain an act as your significant other was at first nothing but an annoyance to them. How dare you, a mere human, talk so casually to a higher being like them? How dare you inconvenience them with having to adapt their personality as to not cause suspicions?
They could have killed you easily. Compared to your partner, you were even more pathetic and weak, considering you were supposedly a so-called "stay-at-home". Just another part of the culture they did not understand.
But why bother? It'd only mean people would come looking for you, supposedly. And how were they supposed to mask as two people at once? No, getting rid of you really wasn't worth the trouble.
If acting like whatever you said was interesting and letting you give them a few hugs and kisses, so be it. Anything to remain undercover and out of sight. Perhaps you'd lose interest in them if they remained passive.
But you didn't. The only reaction they ever got from you was a dejected expression, like that of a kicked puppy, making it seem like they were the bad person. And for some reason that bothered them. Getting to experience you doting on them, sugarcoating every word with nicknames like sweetie or honey or love was unlike anything else they'd ever seen. The people at the facility had been nothing but cruel to them, treating them like a monster. Of course you didn't know the truth, and you never would.
And why did it make their heart skip a beat when you did? Why did they find themselves worrying when you weren't acting like your usual cheerful self? Why did they want to scoop you up into their arms and protect you from the rest of the world? Why were you so oblivious to the change? And most importantly, when did this all become so real?
They were terrified of you finding out the truth. Would you look at them any differently? Would you hate them for killing your real partner? Would you send them back?
These were all questions yet to be answered, and only you, [y/n], would be able to answer them for yourself. Perhaps you merely enjoyed being blue eyed and foolish and believing everything was fine. They certainly wouldn't complain about it.
And no matter what happened, no matter how fiercely possessive they grew of you, how much they felt other people were beneath you, they wouldn't dream of encaging you or seperating you from your loved ones. After all, what kind of a partner would they be if they did the very thing to you they themselves despised so much?
Still, that did not mean they'd let just anyone disrespect you. If they noticed someone getting just a bit too close for comfort or disrespecting you in any way, you bet their corpse joined the remains of your significant other a long time ago ♥︎
One of your favourite things to do is to take pictures of your Yanderes with stupid filters. It’s stupid and it’s childish, but you love it.
Sometimes you snap a pic of them when they’re totally unaware: Dr. Ratio reading a book with a cute cat filter on, Blade sharpening his sword with a Hello Kitty filter, Boothill polishing his revolver with a pink bow in his hair, Caelus gaming with a raccoon filter which makes his eyes comically large and so on. If you’re bored or feeling perhaps a bit mischievous, you will take a picture of them with a super ugly filter and laugh so hard tears pour from your eyes. 
It’s ridiculous, but oh is it fun. You spam the group chat with photos of them and sometimes they spam in return (not all of them, but mostly Caelus, Sampo, Phainon, Boothill, Aventurine and Gallagher). If your spamming gets too bad of if you are on picture spree, they will take your phone away (how cruel!).
So if you want to annoy them get your phone out and take a few pictures. But don’t think they won’t snap some of you on return;)
