Uh - that's a little bit of a hard question. There's plenty of songs that I'm proud of writing in every album that I've done but looking back on fondly? A whole other story. Maybe just the whole of my last album because it was an exercise of discovering myself outside of any label or the band. You named a song after a part of the brain? That's so fucking cool. I wrote a song about my anti-depressants.

i get that. i had to give you a hard question to answer since i struggle with it myself. honestly, i love that. having an album that lets you discover yourself more is pretty great. might have to give it a listen myself whenever i have a free moment to do so. yup. it's a song that basically shares a lot of the trauma and other things i was going through before. i wanted to share it all with the fans honestly. i mean i like that honestly. never thought to do that myself but now you might be giving me a few ideas here.

I know that your stage name is Suga, right? I say that like I'm not a big fan of BTS and don't already know that, but just play along with me here. But do you have any other nicknames that people call you? Not that I'm going to start calling you randomly by your nickname, I was just curious, and I couldn't help but ask. Like, my family all calls me Lil or Lili Bean, and the latter is pretty cute, so I just wondered if you had something cute people call you, outside of Suga. // @mvnsugas

yup and okay i can play along with you here. i have plenty of other nicknames whether the fans call me them or my group members do. i mean, i wouldn't care if you did at all. well there's min pd, min snail, lil meow meow, minstradamus, yoongles, yoongs, and also yoonie. the lil meow meow, yoongles, yoongs, and yoonie are what the fans tends to like to call me.

That's incredibly kind of you to say, thank you so so much! I never quite know what to do with compliments like that besides awkwardly smile and hide my blushing. I'm really glad you liked the characters I play, that's the nicest thing an actor can hear. Oh, I'd be more than happy to make that friendship happen. It sounds like we'd have a pretty good exchange going on: I'll bore you with stories about period dramas, stage mishaps, and the occasional horse, and you can fill me in on the chaos your life seems to attract. I have a feeling yours might be the more entertaining side of that bargain, if I'm honest.

Dare I ask where it is? The fact that you actively choose not to is kind of hilarious. I mean, you're fully entitled to play dumb and ignore people every now and then. I'd definitely do that if I were trying to dodge certain questions, like, oh sorry I can't quite catch that... next question! That's actually really lovely, though. I think getting someone interested enough in a language that they decide to learn it is one of the biggest compliments an artist can receive. People always underestimate how much work goes into learning even the basics, let alone understanding lyrics or holding a conversation. The fact that you guys have had to learn songs in Japanese too is really impressive. I'd be terrified of butchering the pronunciation in front of thousands of people.

it's on the back of my left shoulder. the fans were bugging me enough that i ended up finally showing it to them. it was fun. i even mocked them a bit to tease them about how much they wanted to see my part of the friendship tattoo. i mean it's more of me just zoning out or looking uninterested so i don't have to worry about any question coming my way. that's the best way to do it. i couldn't agree more. i love that the fans adore us so much that they decided to learn korean just to understand us and sing along to our songs better. exactly! like i learned english but i still mix up phrases and words at times cause my brain is so wired to think in korean. it was a lot honestly. i mean i get that. we definitely had to learn before we even attempted to record the songs or perform them. a couple of us are fluent in japanese so that helps.

well, i've been on tour for the past few months so you've been missing that. if anything else is going on, i have no clue. been in my own bubble here with performances and tinkering away at songs that i'm unsure if i'll ever release.

exactly. i know we all wish we could do every song every night but doing the surprise one instead is the next best thing. that would be brilliant. tell them i'd be willing to beg if needed. that's how serious i am about it.

i couldn't agree more. i haven't done a surprise song myself for my own work but it's been done with the groups music before. i'm sure you would but you don't have to beg at all. i feel they'd easily give this to me so we can work together.
