The low-quality models of racers that are displayed when they are far away from the camera in Mario Kart Tour are created through an automated process instead of being manually optimized as they are in some other Mario games. This results in many oddities in these models that are only visible if they are examined in a model viewer, as they would not be seen up-close in the game itself.

Iggy's low-quality model simplifies the lenses of his glasses to a quadrilateral shape, however, instead of making it a rectangle to convey a neutral expression, the lenses make him look distinctly angry instead.
