A soft quiet beep from his lacrima phone brought his eyes open, in a trudge more like it. He’d been attempting to sleep for the past hour now but to no avail. Rogue let out a deep breathing sigh from parted lips as his arm reached out to fumble for the earlier beeping device. Red eyes eventually finding their way to the screen that now lit up the darkness of his inn room.
Messages from Olexa. ‘ Hm .. ‘ He thought to himself in that moment. ‘ Guess she couldn’t sleep as well. ’ What with the distance between them, how it’d sometimes be difficult when the feelings of missing would set in. It was an unfortunate side effect to their circumstances of being in different guilds that ran in two completely separate towns.
[ text ]: That it was.
[ text ]: Better yet, an idea I have.
[ text ]: I come to Magnolia after stopping home. Stay for the week.
[ text ]: Frosch would enjoy it.
[ text ]: … As would I.
◖♪◗ - She had already closed her eyes to force herself to sleep when she heard the soft buzz of the device. Olexa had picked it up already preparing herself to see a completely random message just coincidently sent at this time. To find out it was actually a reply from him shocked her.
Her eyes glazed over the messages, then again a second time. Like a child she buried her face in her pillow while her cheeks flushed red. Once more she peaked at the lacrima to reread the texts she had received. The girls fingers typed out a response, only to delete, then type out something new, and repeat. To think she would still have a hard time forming words when communicating non-verbally.
[text]: Do you have the time to do that?
[text]: I would also enjoy a week of your company
[text]: if its no bother that is
She finally hit send before she could triple guess herself.
