The Gambling Badgers are a rad ass indie rock band from Luxembourg. A few weeks ago they asked me to shoot this video at the release show for their debut record Kings. This was shot at the Melusina Club in Luxembourg City.

As I'm in Luxembourg for a couple days I managed to catch up with the local scene. I visited the Ice in my Eyes single release party and, as always, took my camera with me to capture the show.
Ice in my Eyes are an all star pop band featuring members from Metro, John McAsskill and Inborn! (here's a video I shot of the latter band about a year ago). Their show was hella fun, I hope that comes across in the video.

Irma Cirikovic and I shot an interview with the Berlin based disco-house act MUSK for Prince Charles club. They talk about their influences ranging from 70ies dance music to contemporary techno and how they mix them all up.
On December 22 Eternal Tango played their last ever show at Den Atelier in Luxembourg city. They called it quits after 10 years of touring and recording. Needless to say that they went with a blast.

My dearest friend Irma Cirikovic and I went to the Ry Cuming & Frank Wiedemann secret show at Watergate in Berlin and had the chance grab a few shots. Ry is a singer/songwriter from Australia who collaborates with Frank to sprinkle some electronica on his tunes.Â

Maximillion is an old friend of mine who used to put up shows in Luxembourg with Backfisch. A few years ago he switched from the orga side of things to turntables and is now producing fine techno beats.

Mutiny on the Bounty are wizard mathematicians from Luxembourg. I've been trying to cut together a live video for their song 'North Korea' but I don't have enough footage yet. So here's the opener to their current album 'Trials' 'The long loud silence'. Consider this a sort of teaser for the full video, which'll be up after I see them again.
The footage is from their gigs at the Food for your Senses festival and at Comet Club in Berlin.
Inborn! are a future punk collective, who have been around since I was a teenager. Hence I've seen countless of their performances. This one was rather special though, since it's the first time that I have seen them with their new line-up. They completely trashed the stage and I'm grad to have been able to capture it.
Food for your Senses started out as a smallish local festival in Luxembourg. Over the years it kept growing and growing, to the point where now it's strange to look back at that show in Gilsdorf. Yet they manage to keep a very homely atmosphere and make me want to go back there year after year.
