This is a lie. Sesshomaru lived with Rin for only a few months then left her to live with Kaede for the rest of her childhood. He was never her caretaker under any sense of the word. He refused to even provide her with food.

While Rin lived with Sesshomaru. Rin had to steal food in order to survive. That is not parenting under any rational definition of the word. If he was a real parent he would be in jail for child neglect.

More importantly Rumiko Takahashi never wrote their relationship to be a parent child relationship. That seen were Rin first met Sesshomaru. She was praying to him. She was offering Sesshomaru sacrifices because she viewed him as a God and was praying for him to save her from her miserable circumstances.

Unfortunately you people completely ignore the religious symbolism in a show were a bhuddist priest and a miko are part of the main cast. And invent ill informed secular explanations that don’t hold up to scrutiny.

i support universal free healthcare for one simple reason: if you are diagnosed with a terminal illness you should quit your job. quitting your job is the correct response to terminal illness. but you can’t do that if your healthcare is tied to your job

listen if somebody knows that they will be dead in a years time, and you are forcing them to continue to come into work, that’s fucked up. terminally ill people should be able to quit their jobs and live their last few months to the fullest. i don’t get how that’s a controversial opinion

One of my favorite things about Inukag has got to be the way they are different from each other in pretty much every single thing except the ones that truly matter.

Like, they have opposite personalities, but the same passion, the same sense of justice, the same forgiving nature, the same ideals and life goals.

And while the former makes up for a grreat relationship dynamic, the latter turns that dynamic into something natural and worth sticking around for. Despite their differences but especially because of them.
