to all the citizens who think they're supporting a progressive albeit rightist government, you're not. you're supporting a fascit government putting its boot on others neck, blind to the boot coming to rest on yours.

this government is a shameless, shameless government that does not concern itself with the hunger strike of a 60 year old man (hell, they'll go to the extent of detaining the man), the suicide of over fifteen young students, the suicide of hawkers in Calcutta. This is a government that will promote extra judicious "encounter" justice instead of following through a proper, legal trial. Common citizens, it is you, your lack of control and greed that has led to this moment. The Chief Justice of India perhaps was also once just a common Indian. These people have practically defenestrated the Constitution itself, what can we expect from them of the criminal code of law? this is just a shameful fascist excuse of a government.

You can call Indira Gandhi a dictator all you want, but at least she still respected the mandate of the people, and at least the people still had the audacity, the guts, the sheer absolute gall to exercise their rights.
