Mirror, Mirror, Tell Me Who I Am…

They’re together all the time. Shizuku insists on having Mafuyu around, even while she’s busy. Insists that she works better when she knows Mafuyu’s watching. And watching she is. Mafuyu can’t take her eyes off of her, dolled up and playing the heroine in some soon-to-be summer blockbuster, looking at her love interest with those huge, adoring eyes. She pretends to be unaffected though. Complains of her attention being needed elsewhere, of better uses of her time, but secretly cherishes the time with Shizuku. She knows some other actor will probably sweep her off her feet soon, anyway. She won’t stay single forever, and when that time comes, Mafuyu will just have to learn what it’s like to not be the center of her world anymore. She’ll bear it stoically, she lies to herself, won’t complain or cry or get angry, just repress it like she does everything else.
