the most fucked up scene i ever watched of dean and cas was the one where theyre in like a dump or something, and they pull up in baby and cas is just like. kinda fond and endeared and hes like “You seem happy! the tape deck was broken and we drove here in silence and you didnt complain, not even once.” like firstly: A) that makes me insane because i cant picture early seasons cas saying something like that. hes so humanized and soft and all his edges got rounded off in the later seasons it makes me FOND. that man is no longer an unknowable cosmic entity your honour! he is a FATHER! and B) Like what the fuck am i supposed to do with that. that is the most married shit ive ever heard on this CW show. truly. they rode the whole way there in comfortable silence. and cas was pleasantly surprised. his wife is a bitch and he likes him so much.
