“Want to be impressed?” Ginny asked, semi-seriously, sitting on a broom hovering a few feet above the ground.
Harry, sat against a keepers goal trying to draw up a game plan for Saturday’s match, grinned, “Nearly always, yeah.”
Ginny leant backwards and swung upside down, knees hooking her to the broom. She held up one hand to shield her eyes from the sun, “This isn’t even the impressive bit.”
She took her other hand off the broom handle and let both arms hang down, wiggling her fingers. Her shirt dropped revealing pale stomach, rib cage, the lip of her bra. “Hands-free.”
Ginny winked, pulling her shirt up and tucking it into her pants, “Pervert. Look at my flying skills.”
Silently, she folded her arms over her chest and started slowly circling him, looking him dead in the eyes.
Harry grinned, “Wow. I am very impressed.”
“Yes, you are. This is better flying than half the Ravenclaw team is capable of.” Harry properly laughed, Ginny circling behind and then back in front of him, smiling, arms now crossed over her chest, “Now it’s your turn to impress me.”.
“Well I’ve been talking to you while being able to see pretty far down your shirt this whole time so that’s pretty impressive.”
Ginny laughed this time, long and loud, and Harry thought, stupidly and only for a second, of the basilisk, and the chamber, and Ginny, motionless. Then just as quickly, he was back, Ginny in front of him, talking about taking her top off to distract the Ravenclaw team, hands moving, tips of her hair brushing the pitch. Thank God, Harry thought, selfishly, body full of relief. Thank God.
“-mean Ron would probably fall off his broom and die of shock but that would only add to the distraction. Are you writing this down?”
“The game plan of you flashing and subsequently killing Ron? Afraid not.” Ginny smiled, unhooking her legs and doing a brief handstand before ending up sitting in front of him, hands on his thighs, “Not having a keeper would just give Ravenclaw free rein.”
“The only flaw!” she said, close to him, and Harry laughed, chamber forgotten, flooded by the sun.
