“If cis men can do it, why can’t I?!” -a nondysphoric thinking they’ve suddenly fooled us all, and found the single string that makes our whole arguments about  passing invalid

- Cis men still put makeup on in a way that doesn’t try and reshape their face into a female face. Non-dysphorics don’t even try to put on make up on in a masculine way - Cis men can wear extreme eye makeup because right next to their winged eyeliner, there is a facial hair shadow or stubble. Non-dysphorics have non of that, especially if they’re wearing heavy concealer/foundation. - Wearing a shirt that shows off a gendered sex characteristic (breasts in this case) shows that the non-dysphoric DOESN’T have an ounce of dysphoria if she is able to flaunt around like that without distress of any kind - Having pastel hair along without passing at all immediately makes people in the public see you as feminine, and thus, as a woman. (Trans men want to avoid those possibilities, and that’s why you see more trans men with natural hair, than colored)

Some trans men don’t feel dysphoric about their chest and that’s fine. Not everyone feels dysphoric about the same things to the same degree.

Over the following pages, Kelp struggles to fit in. Kelp is different in so many ways; nothing ever feels fully right. Eventually, by pure chance, Kelp happens to get blown off by a stray ocean current and winds up on the ocean surface, where a remarkable discovery is made.
