RP Partner: Can we fluff? Me: Sure!!Â
5 minutes later.Â
RP Partner: I SAID FLUFF. WHAT IS THIS? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME? Me: Hi, my name is Satan.
[ âïž ] -- âOkay. All these devils are getting out of hand. Someoneâs going to have to do something about them...or ours is gonna get angry.â
[ â„ ] -- âWhat are all the gray people trying to explain to Mom? If itâs a human thing, I can probably tell her!â

[ i am jumping between this blog and my terraria fancharacters and on both dashes iâm just laughing as i watch all the cuphead blogs go at it itâs great ]
âïž -- âNot every day you hear so many people talking about another worldâs Devil! I have to admit, Iâm kind of curious about this fellow.â
âIt canât be any worse than ours...â

HEY GREMLIN. HOWS IT FEEL TO GET KISSED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YOUR LIFE?
     [ â ] -- âIT ISNâT THE FIRST TIME.â
     Itâs totally the first time.
     A moment of consideration...
â...Hm. It was quite warm. And I suppose she is a fine-looking woman, even if her arrogance will no doubt lead to her downfall...â
@multiplayerisms (Necrodancer)
âOh this. This is beautiful. Everybody pandering to the most glorious hateship in the Necrodancer fandom.â
âHeaven help me,â The Conductor sighs, before she moves over to grab the cape collar of the Necrodancer, pulling him forward and down and planting a kiss on his lips. She had to ignore the fact he was cold and undead but you know. It was a dare, that it is. Just a dare. She wasnât enjoying this at all. She was mostly not enjoying Nocturna laughing in the background either.
[ â ] -- Okay, heâd been too wrapped up in the Lute to actually hear the gray strangersâ requests. But it was made more than clear when the woman he was currently playing lapdog for grabbed him and--
     Oh my.
He didnât even have time to do anything, just standing there staring at her, a hint of lighter blue around his mouth from her lipstick.
â...Well! I know that the ladies love musicians...~â
...And heâs got a big doofy grin on his face. What a loser.

ââŠYes. Donât ask how I can tell.â
âMissedâ. Yep. Lying through their teeth. Probably wouldnât have left if they did miss him. Might as pity the small idiot however. Maybe it would be funny to see their face when you betray them or something.
Hopefully.
ââŠEveryone is gone. Sorry.â
[ â„ ] -- She couldnât help but sigh in relief at that. Everything about all these timelines was so confusing to her, even though sheâd been through it all. So many people she knew, but at the same time didnât know. But she got the feeling this one was at least a part of her ânormalâ.
...Though what he said was far from normal.
She tilted her head at him, blinking a few times in confusion.
âGone? What do you mean gone?â No reason to get scared yet, right, this timeline had been fine when sheâd left it, she hadnât hurt anyone even if the voice in her head wanted to convince her she should...
Beyond the Veil
soyouthinkyoucadance:
Cadence wasnât sure HOW to react to all of this. What was she to do, anyway? She had a vague recollection of what happened to her as she tried to dig and escape, and the pain in the back of her neck hinted that as she held her father tightly, but there had to be some sort of explanation for it. âIâm sorryâŠ?â There was an irritated tone in her voice as he went on, but she calmed down, wiping tears off of her cheeks, âWhat even happened? Why were you gone for so long? What was more important than Uncle Eli and I?â There was genuine sadness and worry in her voice. Clearly he had missed her, but⊠she was too upset to really get mad at anybody, much less her own father.
[ đ ] -- Hearing that harsh tone in her voice, coupled with the accusations, hurt almost as much as dying the first time had. He pressed his lips together tightly, holding her at armsâ length with one hand on her shoulder--half for comfort, half to steady himself.
â...It wasnât more important, I was doing it all for this family,â he responded, his voice full of conviction. Though the fire in his eyes quickly faded--that didnât excuse it, of course it didnât.
âI...was looking for something. And I didnât want to tell you about it before I found it because I...I didnât want to get your hopes up. Eli knew, but Iâm guessing he never told you anything.â
Dorian watched her with a conflicted expression. Now he was staring the issue in the face--after all this time, could he admit it? Could he actually tell her what heâd been after all this time?
He had to. She deserved to know.
His chin dropped. He couldnât look her in the eye.
â...The thing I was looking for...I was looking for it because...it was supposed to be able to bring your mother back.â
soyouthinkyoucadance:
Well⊠he made those comments and now she had to bite back more of them. What was she to do, anyway? Itâs not as if she could tell Octavian he was the one that controlled her when he turned all crazy and evil, but then again⊠âWell⊠canât argue that one,â Thatâs all she could say as she leaned down the hold, feeling a flutter in her heart as she started to descend down, apsailing with the rope as she descended further down. Now it was quiet, but she remembered how it was teeming with the undead and she felt very anxious that she would get grabbed at any moment. âYeah play me some tunes while I descend down into hell itself, Iâd appreciate it.â Sarcasm, ahoyâŠ
[ âȘ ] -- Well, she could tell him--but he probably wouldnât take it well, assuming he even believed her.
Octavian was surprisingly careful and attentive, biting back his urge to go and peer down the hole immediately and instead keeping an eye on the other end of the rope. It was holding, which was good.
âThereâs no excuse not to appreciate good music, no matter the situation.â He understood the sarcasm, but he wasnât going to acknowledge it.
There was little incident in the hole itself. It was almost...eerily silent and...dead. After a while of waiting, he headed back to the edge of the hole and bent over to see, taking the rope in one hand.
âIf youâre at the bottom, Iâm going to start coming down after you.â
The Sound of Science
ladyandthevamp:
The Conductor was all too happy to lend over the lute, watching as the man started plucking strings, almost entirely focused on it. It gave her a chance to move away from him, heading to some terminals to check the sound quality and study the notes that he was jamming out. The sound echoed around, reaching her ears and she couldnât help but let out a deep breath. âWonderful. You have a good ear, I will admit, you are not half bad for a bard,â The Conductor spoke up, not expecting any response to it as she started repairing the terminals and trying to fix the mess Nocturna left her lab in. Next thing would be the generators and batteries, but with the lute in The Necrodancerâs hand she couldnât keep her back turned on him for too long⊠âTell me your story. And sing it, please.â
[ â ] -- It was strange. There would have been a time, a long time ago, where any compliment towards him or his music would be desperately clung to like a lifeline. But as it was, her words barely registered to him, if they did at all, as he was too utterly absorbed in his reunion with the Luteâs power.
Luckily, the initial rush started to wear off after a few minutes, just enough for him to realize she was talking to him. He cracked one eye open and glanced at her half-curiously, still playing, though quieter now.
âMy story?â he drawled, with a scoff, âWhat makes you think you have the right to my story?â A harsh minor seventh to accentuate his words. âBesides, itâs hardly important now. Practically lost to my memory.âÂ
Even though it wasnât that long ago...The fact that he had lost himself so quickly shouldâve worried him, he knew. But...it was as if he couldnât force himself to care.
â...I have long been a bard. All my life, a traveler...but ahead of my time. I was never noticed. They all regret dismissing me, now.â
No, he wasnât going to sing--or tell her anything too detailed. She couldnât just order him around, and if she thought he would make things easy for her, she was in for a rude awakening.
The Sound of Science
ladyandthevamp:
The Conductor did indeed consider it, but she knew bette than to be wooed by this man and his ability to play the Lute. There was more going on here with his intentions than she knew, and she would have to be careful. In order to properly use him like a tool, she had to make sure he thought he was in complete control. âThat is true, you are as stuck here as I am,â The Conductor responded cooly, allowing him to approach her, reaching out. She kept her chin up as she held the lute out, her eyes glowing electric yellow. âI like that idea, but keep in mind, the Lute should be plugged in at all times,â She let out a wide smile, âItâd be interesting to see what sort of music comes out of this. I should study the sound waves resulting in such an attempt.â She failed to mention what would happen if he tried to remove the cord from the lute, and honestly she was hoping heâd try so he would get another nasty surpriseâŠ
[ â ] -- He wasnât going to try anything...yet. Not while she was looking, at least. He was a little smarter than that. Heâd play along. For now.
He took the lute greedily, cradling it in his arms like a precious child. Gnarled fingers picked at the strings with a surprising delicacy, and a strange sound filled the air as he did--something loud and full-bodied, and yet at the same time...metallic. It wasnât anything he was intending, so he had to assume that it was the doing of the power grid.
It didnât really matter. The moment he began to play in earnest, the luteâs song filled his mind again, its âsingingâ a welcome presence. His body jolted with vitality and euphoria as a magical purple mist licked at his fingers, and he threw his head back, looking extremely pleased by this turn of events.
He was playing something quick, lively, with an edge to it and a strong rhythm--a song of one of his gatekeepers, actually, and probably one of the fastest tunes heâd composed. He seemed completely engrossed in this, to the point of apparently forgetting the Conductor was even there.

Cadence tightened the rope, making sure everything was taut before she started to work on wandering around the hole, checking for a good entrance in. As she looked down the hole, her heart skipped a beat, remembering how she had dug here before and fell. Cadence instinctively rubbed the back of her head as she glanced over to Octavian. âYeah, youâd have to have been there to see it,â Cadence, shrugged, â⊠Well⊠I guess it was good music? I had no choice but to move to its beat soâŠâ She had no idea how to respond to that one. It was⊠ahead of its time, she knew that for a fact.
[ âȘ ] -- Octavian stood by the anchor tree to keep an eye on the other side of Cadenceâs rope, leaning against it with one hand, absently, as he watched her try to find a place to descend.
âI mean...if youâre going to be bound to any sort of tune, at least it could be a good one?â he responded with a shrug, âItâd be terribly rude for one to force you to move to the rhythm of a terrible song.â
Really, he couldnât imagine how that mustâve felt. To not be able to move unless the music told you to...it sounded dreadful to him, good music or no.
âIâm, er, sorry you had to go through that. But itâs over now! ...Perhaps I can play some while we walk for old timeâs sake?â
He winked at her, apparently not getting just how tasteless that joke was, given the circumstances.
cloudymuses:
Another tilt of her head followed his words. What Wilson said mightâve been a littleâŠtoo advanced for Vibriâs vocabulary.
Frankly, she picked up his first set of words the best out of the two, but still not enough to fully understand. What did he mean by âpigsâ? Were there other animals here too, other than the rabbits? Her ears perked up at the thought. Maybe she could make friends with the pigs as well!
Vibriâs ears only lowered back to their previous position with his next words. SheâŠbarely caught any of it. Not that she could necessarily be blamed for it, since she was a child at heart, but all of the words came by too quickly for her to comprehend. There was a bit that she caught, thoughâŠ
âYou havenât slept? Arenât you tired?â There was a real sense of concern in her voice. She may have just met this person, but even he needed some sort of attention.
[ đĄ ] -- Wilson didnât tend to pick up on the social cues of other humans--at least, back when heâd occasionally run into a person while out buying groceries. So of course he wasnât going to notice how confused the rabbit was. Heâd just keep going.
...Or he would have if she hadnât tacked on that last bit. He blinked at her several times, incomprehension mirroring hers now on his face. Was he tired? He wasnât sure anymore, he was fairly certain he was in a constant state of âtired but too terrified to sleepâ in this place.
âI...â The scientist rubbed at his chin, glancing off to the side and pressing his lips together into a shin line, âWell, I should be all right, Iâve gone longer before. Unfortunately, thereâs not very much time to rest in this place. You have to stay up and moving if you want to keep a step ahead of this place, elsewise itâs liable to tear you to pieces!...Though I admit it does a number on your mind after a while. Maybe thatâs just this place in general...â
