But the point here is Rhaenyra's hypocrisy. She took what Alyn and Addam had to offer but wouldn't give them anything in return. They literally risked their lives and she wouldn't legitimise them when that's the only thing Corlys asked her to do. He stood by her, against his own brother, and supported Lucerys's birthright despite knowing the truth. Yet she wouldn't return the favour.

But then again Corlys is no saint either. He neglected his sons their whole life and only began to value them when they started being "useful". Now he is trying to make amends by doing the bare minimum by giving them his name.

Credit where it is due though: Rhaenyra did try to have legitimate kids with Laenor as mentioned in season 1. It didn't work out because Laenor is gay. So she was left with no choice which is definitely not comparable to Corlys cheating on his wife. His daughter in law deciding to have children with another man, which his son knows and approves of, is not the same as him having kids with a mistress.

At no point during the final battle did I feel half as worried for any of the characters.

While a bunch of people told Will that he would never lose them, Steve actually showed Robin she is not losing him without actually saying it.

He took a minute or two to process and immediately started bickering with her about Tammy Thompson's singing. Imagine the relief Robin must have felt in that moment.
